And Pearl Colored Generals Brow Bar, and are in very good condition. These super glasses are Ray-Ban& Bausch& Lomb. The metal top bar say's B&L Ray Ban USA. These were my brothers. Rare Bausch and Lomb Ray Ban Sunglasses Clock
I can't find anything on this clock. I replaced the light bulb and starter inside and she really shines. She runs great. The last picture is without the new light. The 2nd picture shows a crack on the side that you don't really notice unless you look for it. The material is the same inside and out. You can see a little split above the 12 if you press on the12. There is a crack on the back on one of the transformer mounts. She is union made in the US and measures 15" square by 4" deep. It is a really cool piece. I will be shipping her Fedex.

Made by the Bausch& Lomb Co. in Rochester NY. These are the original government issued aviator sunglasses ... morefor the USN and USAAF during WW2, model AN-6531. Born in the mid 1930's these glasses were developed by the air force to accommodate the pilots during the 2nd world war. Since pilots were constantly looking down at their instrument panel while in flight, this necessity gave birth to the teardrop"aviator" shape lens. Bausch and Lomb was one of the few companies to be contracted by the US government to create these glasses. Bausch and Lomb then incorporated the new design to create the Ray Ban line of sunglasses. These glasses are considered the 1st generation of Bausch and Lomb"aviator" sunglasses, thus the birth of the"Ray Ban" line of sunglasses, and the creation of the"aviator" style of glasses we see today. Description of the glasses in the auction. These glasses are the harder to find An-6531-2 model. These glasses are in overall good condition. They would be wonderful for both wearing or display. The lenses on these glasses are the dark amber rock glass and are the pioneered"Anti Glare" type featured in all Bausch& Lomb lenses. Vintage WWII WW2 Ray-Ban Ray Ban Rayban Aviator Sunglasses, With Orig. Case
This auction is a rarity: A pair of authentic WWII Bausch& Lomb Ray-Ban aviator sunglasses with their original leather case. NO RESERVE, WITH A STARTING PRICE OF ONLY.99 CENTS. These are the real deal(I knew the original owner, a WWII submariner) so I'm taking a small risk with the price, and let's see how they do. I'm confident that they'll rise to their true vintage value. The frames are 12 karat gold-filled(which actually means gold-plated) And in mint condition, as are the dark green G-15(anti-glare) lenses. I believe that these were the sailor's spare pair(I still have the scratched, bent pair that he actually wore day to day, and you'd have to shoot me to get me to part with those) The nose pads are made of either some sort of shell, or bakelite, and have a light orange tinge to them. Pressed into the top ... moreof the frames is the following: B&L Ray-Ban U.S.A. Turn the glasses upside-down, and on the underside of the bridge are the words: B&L 1/10 12K GF" If you take a look at the close-ups of the front of the leather case. You'll see that the logo isn't in today's circular pattern, which indicates that these are, indeed, older than most. On the back of the case you'll see two slits that would have enabled the wearer to slide it onto his belt. As you can see, these remain intact, unused. Hinge-to-hinge, the glasses measure 5" across. The original Ray ban aviator sunglasses) They appear to be new old stock since they were found in a government issued Navy Aeronautical repair kit for 6531 sunglasses. These lenses are WW2 original and are close to 70 years old. The lenses are the dark green anti glare bausch and lomb 58mm lenses and will fit any pair of Bausch and Lomb AN-6531 sunglasses. They do not appear to have ever been installed. The lenses do have some very faint scratches to each lens. The Viewers right lens has 2 very small specs in it. Probably occured from years of storage.
