UMCO 2000 BWS Tackle Box
Hi I have a old UMCO tackle box which I found while cleaning up some of my dads old fishing stuff. The box is marked Umco 2000 BWS made in watertown Minn I have not done anything to the box it is just as I found it along with 12 other tackle boxes full of old lures. This box is empty and has not been cleaned at all just the way it was found it. I have included a lot of pictures of the box maybe some one can use it. The box is empty no lures it does have some markings on it and some scratches as can be seen in the photos all the trays are still pretty nice all the latches work. The box has been closed up for a long time I am not sure how old it is has a little musty smell to it as once again I have done nothing to it just the way I found it. This is a Vintage Old Pal One Tray Solid Steel Blue Color Tackle Box in nice condition. I had one just like it when I was a kid and I'm retired now. So probably at least 50 years old. Opens from the front with eight stationary compartments, with plenty of room in the bottom. The tray is nearly perfect in condition. Closes tight and secure with the original steel latch. The handle is high impact plastic with the very sought after lure inlay. It does have some minor spots and scuffs. But no dents and the inside looks great. Very solidly constructed. I have for sale a nice vintage Climax fishing Tackle box. It has a tip out top tray. Made of metal and painted green. It is in vintage condition with scratches and paint missing on the outside. The inside is in pretty good shape. One corner does have a crack in it. I show in picture#6. It has a metal stand up handle and on the plate it says Climax. The Hamilton Metal Products, Hamilton Ohio. On the bottom there is a Pat 1912-915. Needs a light cleaning. Measures when closed 12 1/2' long by 6' wide and 5 1/2' deep. Up for Auction: a very nice Victor tackle box. Please take note of my pictures. A few scrapes on the bottom. But otherwise this tackle box is in excellent used condition. Very clean inside and out. Comes with a rubber"mat" for the top tray. I don't believe this tackle box was ever used for fishing.
