Marble as a"simple and efficient substitute for the ordinary gaff hook for landing fish.quoted from the patent application. It was manufactured by the Marble Arms Co. Gladstone, MI, and is in quite good shape. There is slight rust, but most of the surface is still in great shape. The mechanism works well and freely.
