Even better with a reel mounted to it, and- even better than that- with line through the guides as you dissect your favorite dry fly water. The Tom Morgan Favorite is perhaps Winston's signature. Flagship, most revered fly rod ever produced. It was celebrated as Winston's 60th Anniversary rod and, to this day, it is most certainly highlights many fly rod collections and is at the top of the"want list" of many others. There is a a distinct buttery feel and seemingly perfect taper that just make this rod so incredibly lively and responsive. And why it is so revered. Adding to the uniqueness and rarity of this particular rod is the fact that it a down-locker- eventually designated a Winston factory upgrade. Awhile back I sold my maple down-locker. It.
