The only blemishes are some very light paint wear on either side of the bail assembly and a pinpoint- sized dot of a hardened. Clear substance on the non-handle side of the reel between the plastic handle nut and the rotor. It looks like clear nail polish or something similar. Otherwise, the reel looks and feels new. Shimano AX-2000 Spin Reel Used. But not abused. Cranks smoothly. I like the rear drag and the reliable Quickfire II features that work just as well as much more expensive reels. All-graphite construction keeps the weight low at 9.5 oz. It's a great"basic" or backup reel but has somewhat advanced features. Casts easily with very little fouling. Here's a secret: the spool fits my Spirex 2000RD too. If you've used Shimano reels. You're probably already hooked. The not-so-fine print: Returns are accepted within 30 days after sale.
