Penn 4400 SS Fishing Spinning Reel in the Box with Papers Graphite USA
Up for sale is the ever popular Penn 4400 SS skirted spool spinning reel. This reel is extremely versatile and can be used for medium fresh and salt water fishing. Of course. It is very well known for its durable and long lasting quality while fishing for many powerful salt water species. This reel comes with its correct box, paperwork, and Penn multi-tool. The reel is loaded with a spool of mono line(the blue rubber band is holding it in place) The reel has been lightly used. There are some scrapes and signs of use. The only really noticeable marks are on the handle near the elbow where it breaks down. Otherwise the signs of use on this reel are miniscule. The reel is, mechanically, very sound. It turns smoothly, the bail works, the anti reverse is fine, and the drag is strong. I can find no operational or cosmetic flaws other than as mentioned ... moreabove. The box is good and sturdy. However one corner has nearly separated. A little Elmer's glue will do the trick. Otherwise it is in very nice shape. Included in the box are the Penn SS Series catalog, the parts diagram and list, and the Penn marked multi-tool. This is a great older, USA made, Penn reel that's almost in like new condition in the original box. I am opening this auction with a low opening bid. I never use a reserve.
