The white parts over the eyes is scuffed. Antique 3-Mold Blown Glass Decanter Jug Cruet Clear Diamond Pattern Pontil Scar Lovely example of early American 3-mold blown pressed glass. The pattern on the body is comprised of diamond and fan shapes and the neck is fluted. It is constructed of fairly thick glass with no chips or cracks. There is an"open pontil" scar along with other marks left by the manufacturing process on the bottom. Some trapped air bubbles within the glass, and some rougness and other imperfections along the interior edge of the opening but nothing that would seem unusual. This UNISPHERE GLOBE is molded from an original MOLD-A-RAMA machine using an original mold that dates back to use at the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair! The UNISPHERE was THE symbol of the fair and following the end of the fair. The mold's engraving was modified and moved out the Griffith Park Observatory in the Hollywood Hills in LA! The modifications did not alter the FRONT of the mold and the UNISPHERE engraving that was original to the Worlds Fair! I am listing a very unique item- 1/2 of a toy solider mold with WWI figures on it! This mold has 3 military looking WWI figures. one sharpshooter. One seated machine gunner, and one charging with rifle with the bayonet. The mold is in excellent condition and has its wooden handle attached. I picked this up at an auction. Applied double ring lip on a 1 inch neck Pushed up base with a large 2 inch sticky ball pontil.This could be a dip mold bottle. Sure is early enough.Glass is crude a whittled with various bubbles.Color is a light olive green with out any amber, shading to a darker olive towards the base. Condition is very good. Showing good early base ware. This gorgeous large ewer or pitcher features a matte finish allover cream or blush glaze onto which has been hand painted lovely flowers on branches with foliage in bud and in full bloom. The flowers and leaves have been trimmed and accented with gold gilt so that every petal and vien stands out. The fall like earth tone colors are just lovely and will blend well with almost any environment you decide to display this in. The large size is impressive and will make this a focal point of any room or cabinet space and the gorgeous mold design really makes it quite the show piece. This piece stands an impressive 15.25" tall to the spout tip and is around 8" across at its broadest point with a base diameter of 4.5" This piece bares a factory mark dating it from the earliest period of manufacture by this maker being 1895-1924. The design elemets date the piece from the very earliest part of the time frame and was probably created in the late 1890's when other factories like Worcester and some austrian makers were putting out similar pieces that were all the rage at that time. Condition report: This piece is in antique or vintage fine condition with only two issues. The first is a small hard to notice rim chip and a shallow filed down one on the spout. The chip is hard to see because it is in the crease of the mold so unless you are fairly close and looking for it you will not find it. The filed down sliver looks to have been reparied at the factory and is would not be noticed at all accept it affects the shape of the spout slightly. The other issue is some chipping
