Shimano Jumbo Tackle Box Bag Holds Ten 3700s plus Four 3600s
I used this for several years. My boat now has all built in tackle storage so I do not need it anymore. It was pretty expensive when new and you do not see too many that are this large anymore. I hope someone can get some use of it. I will try to make the best description but PLEASE ask any questions before bidding as I do not accept returns. Especially on this because it is going to be expensive to ship. Dimensions: 21"wide by 18" tall by 10" deep. Capacity: 10- 3700 and 4- 3600 size tackle containers plus anything that fits in the pockets around the outside plus inside the lid. Weight: 17 pounds empty. Condition: The top is a bit sun-faded. One of the small zippers for one of the bottom compartments does not close. It still operates up and down so between that and the velcro; the compartment stays closed and is still operational. ... moreTwo of the 3600 boxes are missing one closing tab each. One of the 3700 boxes has about a 1" crack in the lid. Two of the 3700s and one of the 3600 boxes are Flambeau and not the Shimano boxes. Most of the boxes have stick on labels and a few are labeled with marker. Most of the 3700 boxes have red discolorations on the lids. This was from the tape I used to fasten lure dive curve charts to the lids. This is a discoloration and not glue residue. I tried lighter fluid to remove it and no-go. There are no rips or tears. The bottom is in excellent shape. It has six rubber pads that are in fine shape. I do not have a box for this so unless I find one before the auction closes; I am going to wrap this in several layers of black plastic and ship it. I am not sure if it was a doctor/surgeon bag for all the instruments. Or if it was an old tackle box or maybe some sort of salesman sample case. Overall measurements are 21" tall by 8 1/2" wide. The bag has 2 compartments. The top of the bag is similar to a regular Dr.bag and opens up to a 8" deep case. THe latches on the top of the bag are brass and there is a lock, but no key. Latches work fine. When you unhook the bottom side ... morelatches it opens up to a large storage area that has 10 fold out trays. When fully extended the trays are 40" wide. The side latches workfine but one of the rivets holding the latch in place is loose so you have to adjust a little when closing. The bottom latches and some of the metal rivots on the bottom show some rust from age and wear. The side latches are engraved Corbin, Corbin made latches as early as the 1800's. I believe this bag was brown in color at one time but with age it is now black. I think this is a really nice bag and could be whatever you want it to be. I have taken pictures with the antique fishing equipment( not included) and also vintage Medical( not included) to give you an idea of how this would display. The bag has wear as would be expected from something this old. Some of the leather is well worn and has scratching on the surfaces. I have tried to include lots of pictures so you get a good idea of the design and the condition. Selling three reels and one tackle bag that belonged to my grandson. Tackle bag is by Plano. New out of plastic, never used. Shoulder strap can be removed, 4 pockets, bottle/bait rack. Measures in length 11" long by 7" width and 6" high. Camouflage design. One reel by KVD, model KV700HX, quantum, 7 bearings. Lews, MCS, 10 bearings system, Speed Spool. Last, the Bionic BNP10SHE, 6 bearing system. Information is taken from each reel. I am not an expert on fishing gear but do know that my grandson is an avid fisherman and has several reels that he has purchased and didn't use these anymore. He is now doing mostly deep sea fishing.
