Antique 1892 Rookwood Ceramic Vase Edward Abel Special Mold S1137 L W Standard
Hi. For sale a Rookwood vase from 1890- 1892. The artist is Edward Abel and only worked for Rookwood for two years. There is an S1137 which makes this a special mold. The S stands for special and the 1137 is the mold number, I read that means they only made one(I don't know that for sure though) Often times S molds were made for dignitaries or someone special on a special occasion. The fact that the artist worked there for two years in itself makes this a rare piece, then with it being a special mold it makes it even more rare. I was told that this artist was one of the better artists that worked for Rookwood. It is most likely one of a kind. This vase is in near mint condition. The only thing it has is a little crazing on the bottom and on the vase, you can not see the crazing with the naked eye on the vase you can only see it through ... morea jewelers loop. However, the crazing on the bottom of the vase is visible. There is a tiny pin size bump on the lip of the vase. Looking through it with the loop it looks like a little pin size dab of glaze. There are no chips, cracks or hairline fractures anywhere on the vase. According to the marks it is a standard glaze Rookwood. It has a scalloped top and the coloring graduates down towards the bottom. I have not seen another scallop top Rookwood vase and I have looked at on the internet quite a bit. It is 5 and 1/2 inches in heigth, 3 and 1/2 inches wide at the widest part, 2 inches arcross the bottom, and 1 1/4 inches at the mouth. The L stands for light standard glaze, the W means it was white clay. The RP(which is fading) has the correct amount of feathers or marks on it for the year. This is an amazig piece in wonderful condition for an 1892 vase. Please look at the pictures closely, when you look at it close up the little white dots are lint they are not on the vase. And the extra spool has an Orvis Wonderline WF12I on it. Both in Abel Pouches. These Abel Anti-Reverse reels are really bullet proof for big fast fish, and can save your knuckles or a finger. Reel is set for Left-Hand Retrieve, but can be reversed by factory or person with knowledge of the reel. Reel is engraved with my name. A sharpie, or some quick gun bluing can hide that. Well, this is an EXTREMELY RARE custom ABEL from Street Fighter statue(premium format) that is designed to fit into the Pop Culture ... moreShock Street Fighter line. It is the same 1/4 scale and has many design similarities. This is the Player 2 red costume. It's an absolute beast of a statue. He is so muscular. Heavy and huge! I actually adore this statue but I have to let it go unfortunately. It truly is premium format/ mixed media. The Gi. And belt are made of a very sturdy thick fabric that can be posed nicely. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING It is an Artist Proof. Only 5 were made in the numbered line. This particular artist proof was used to fit the clothing before the clothing was reproduced for the line. For that reason it has a few flaws that I will outline now: 1. There is a subtle glue stain on the Gi(jacket) You can see it in one of the photos. I have always displayed the Gi in such a way that you cannot see the stain(you can see how I style it in the picture that directly follows the glue stain pic) 2. The white stripe in the shorts is not perfectly white. It has a blueish hue. Personally I kind of like the worn look. 3. There is a little blob of yellow pain on his forehead. Abel Super 6 Fly Reel Made In USA 13532 Near Perfect Condition
For sale is a. Near flawless, Abel Super 6 fly reel. It has line on it and all I can make out on the line sticker is"Bonefish WF-8 Mastery Series Fly Line" this is the only info I have for the line. It is almost perfect, the only issues are both pictured. One is that the reel was engraved with my friends name and the engraving had to be removed, I have shown in the pictures what it looked liked removed and how it looks now after it has been touched up. The other is the very tiny scratch shown in the picture, believe me when I say it looks a lot worse in the picture then in person. I'm selling this for a friend so I will do my best to answer any questions. Also included with this reel is an Abelube System, reel lube kit(see pictures) All the lube vials are full.
