The map has a lot of tears tape stains. There is a section about 4 1/2 inches by 5 inches of the map missing. This has a section telling about farming. It also says For Sale in section or Fractions by Edward Northam 482 Montgomery Street San Francisco or at the agency in Los Angeles. This must be referring to the sell of the ranch after he lost it due to the draught in 1868. There is also a section on one side about 5 inches long and 1 inch wide where the map is missing. This is the reel conceived by Loomis& Rajeff back in the day(circa early 2000) to mate with their industry leading GLX fly rods. it's a beautiful series of fly reels!
