Abu Garcia Ambassadeur parts reels, Ultra mag plus and 1000
Up for auction today is a Ambassadeur 1000 and Ultra mag plus for parts. The ultra mag reel work fine but the levelwind does not move. The Ambassadeur 1000 works fine except the drag does not function properly. Both reels in good condition for their age with only small amounts of rim rash. Nice lot of 5 spinning reels. 4 Shimano and 1 Abu Garcia 502 reel. Models of the Shimano reels are Solstace 2000FH. Sienna 2000R, Sidebar 2000, and Aero SI-2000R. The reels are used, but in good condition. Typical wear for used reels, but nothing out of the ordinary. The reels are in good used condition. Normal wear and tear, but nothing out of the ordinary. In some of the pictures the Aero reel does not have a handle. I found the handle, but am missing the screw. I think I may have an extra one, but please bid knowing that it may not come with a screw for the handle. The Abu Garica, Sienna, and Solstace reels seem to work very good. The bail on the Aero was getting held up at times, and the Sidebar reel was working, but froze up and will not reel now. We have some more reels to list this coming week, and are trying to downsize our inventory ... moreat this time. Normally we would list these reels 1 or 2 at a time. Great opportunity to get a nice lot of reels. We are not experts on the inner components. And base the condition on the outside of the reel. Lot Of 6 Abu Garcia Fishing Reels 4600 Plus Cardinal 763 755 752 Black Max
Lot of 6 vintage Abu Garcia reels. 5 spinning reels. And one baitcasting reel. They all show wear, but the condition varies from reel to reel. Please take a good look at the photos to get a good idea of the condition. Some of the reels have issues, and need repair. Some work fine, some may have a typical shimmy when reeling, etc. Please keep in mind that the reels in this lot are well used, and most need attention. Cardinal 752. Works good. A little shimmy when reeling though. Black Max UL. Best working reel in the lot. 4600 Plus. Works fine. But a little noise when reeling. Also missing the cast control knob. Cardinal 755. Issue with the bail not clicking over. And a shimmy when reeling. Cardinal 763. Works fine. But the bail does not click over smoothly. Cardinal 963. The spool is not on straight. Causing it to reel very hard. Probably ... morethe biggest issue of all the reels. Good thing this is probably the newest and least valuable of the reels. We are not experts on the inner components of the reels and base the condition on the exterior. There are 19 pages in total. Each measures 7.25” x almost 11” I think they may have been removed from magazines. Each page is in near perfect condition. I believe the collector put each page in the zip lock page bags you see in the photos. I left them in their individual bags to handle and photograph them. So please take that into consideration when viewing the photos. The colors are brighter than you see and do not appear to have experienced any perceivable fading. The pages will be combined into one or two of the slip bags to reduce shipping weight. All corners(except two of them that have slivers missing) are in excellent condition, and there appear to be no marks, foxing, folds or tears in any of the pages. I have shown every page in my photos. Each page has an ad for Garcia fishing equipment on one side and a full color Milton C. Weiler ... morefish print suitable for framing on the reverse side. It has old line and I never want to use anything but new. I use thes type of reel for all my game fish here in North Central Texas. And the Okuma spins well, the Okuma has the spool knob from the large black Shakespeare that does make a grinding noise when turned. The silver Diawa turns smoothly. 5 baitcasting reels. Most of which need repair. There are 3 Pflueger Echelon reels. 2 model PFLECHELONLP2, and 1PFLECHELON4LP. 1 of the LP2 reels works very good. Garcia Abu Matic Horrocks Ibbotson 3 Zebco Closed Face Reels Need Repair Parts
A nice selection of closed face reels that can be used for parts or need to be repaired. Big Zebco stainless steel Spinner Model 55 has no anti reverse. Zebco 808 no anti reverse. Zebco 606 is stiff reeling. Garcia Abu-Matic 70 needs a screw for the star drag. Horrocks-Ibbotson Defiance 1900 has a broken foot and needs repair. Vintage Penn 420SS High Speed Abu Garcia Cardinal 752 Spinning Fishing Reels
2 vintage spinning reels. One is a Penn 420SS High Speed 5.1:1. And the other is a Abu Garcia Cardinal 752. Both reels show wear and such. Mostly missing paint, which is common for vintage reels such as these. Please take a good look at the photos to get a good idea of the condition. Both reels work. All the parts function. I would say the Penn reel works better then the Abu. The Abu has some shimmy when reeling. The Penn reel works good, but I heard a tiny whim my noise at times. Also, when I was reeling fast, and let go of the handle, they was a little rattling noise. I really believe I am being over lyrics picky for the buyers sake, and they will be happy with the working condition of the Penn. Just keep in mind that vintage reels are not going to usually work like they did when new. We are not experts on the inner components of the reels ... moreand base the condition on the exterior.
