Here is a Abu Garcia Maxxar Cardinal Ultra 2 ball bearings. Accu balance, Cast Design Reel, on the bottom it looks like some type of scale and has size 3 on it, It does appear to have been used as it has some wear, the handle is missing on it. it looks like to me you could change the handles to be either on the right or left side depending on if you were left or right handed. It still has line on it. Most things I sell I have gotten at Auctions so they may have come from a home that had pets or where someone smoked. Most things I sell are old and used with some wear. Very Nice 5600 AB Ambassadeur reel. A couple very minor nicks but not even noticeable- but you really have to look to find them. Overall condition is very good/ MINT and drag works great, levelwind works and its ready to fish for all types of fish. Anti-backlash system can be turned on or off with the flip of the switch. in the off position it works as any other free spool bait casting reel-But switch it on and it will help eliminate a backlash when throwing lighter lures or casting into a wind. 5.3 gear ratio is perfect for all types of fishing. These are very nice reels with the anti-backlash feature. If you bypass the anti backlash. It works like a dream. It looks good, feels good, runs smooth, and casts well. great looking abu Garcia blue max baitcasting reel for parts or to fix. used a few times then it quit working correctly. everything works except when you turn the handle the line retrieve eye doesn't move left to right because worm gear doesn't rotate. Spool spins with every turn of the handle. No bends or dings,the only noticeable blemishes are on close inspection, and they are just a couple of very small light scratches/pitts( I can e-mail pics if needed) This reel is all metal made except for the hand grip and push button. Abu Garcia Lure called the ABU Hi-lo is a deep water and shallow water in one lure. The lip is on a ratchet type set-up with a Sweden patent see the two pictures One deep and one shallow. This is the fastest change shallow to deep I ever seen. Defects: The black pupils are gone only gold circles remains. The only problem with lure is no little black spots for eyes.
