Works fine as long as the button stays down. But like I said it pops back up pretty much all the time. Maybe hard grease? Expect to clean and oil though for optimum performance. Vintage Abu Garcia Suveran S2000M + 2 Spare Spools -- Made In Sweden
Up for auction is a nice vintage Abu Garcia Suveran S2000M spinning reel which is made in Sweden. The reel comes with two additional spools- one aluminum and one graphite. The reel is in good condition aside from some oxidation on the stem and part of the frame as you can see. And a few scuffs.There is no oxidation or rust anywhere else though. This is simply cosmetic damage and it has no affect on the reel's function. Which is great. The Suveran reels are among the finest reels ever constructed. The gear box is virtually indestructible and the level of engineering is simply unmatched I will be listing another Suveran as well.

It holds a lot of line- capacity is 300 yards of 12 lbs test line mono. It has 3 screws holding the side plates in place, and a switch on the left side that looks like it could be for a bait runner clicker. The cap that covers the handle screw is missing and it has some scratches in the paint. The spool release, level wind, spool control knob and drag all appear to working okay.
