I have just confused myself as to why i couldnt get it on the cage for a second or two before remembering it was from a left handed reel. this set up will fit vintage abu reels from the early 1970's. Its has an immaculate black bevel edge sideplate, very hard to find in this condition, driveplate, and gears and tension cap. The driveplate is in very good condition, as are the gears, although the driveplate is black, but the colour has rubbed along the outer rim, this could easily be touched in but i chose to leave in its original state. this is a rare old find. more ... morethan happy to ship worldwide.

This is a great example of the direct drive series of reels by Ambassadeur. This is the clicker style reel which works flawlessly. This reel is clean and has minimal wear marks as can be seen in the photos. There is some paint loss on the original handle and the pictures how it clearly. This old Ambassadeur 5000C has been cleaned and works just as it should. It has the small twin handle which is correct for this reel. It has some boat rash on the side plates and a pretty good"ding" on the left side plate which is clearly seen in the photos. The bearings are a little noisy compared and may need to be replaced in the future if you fish with it. It does still perform just as it should now however. NO RESERVE and NO international shipping.
