Pretty close to very good shap e but the plates do have some finish wear. The Super-Sized and Zoom-Able pictures are of the reel which show it quite well. This Ambassadeur is in very good shape and ready to fish. Has a well working levelwind. Cranks well and has a solid anti-reverse. H as a very good freespool mode with nice bushings and has dual manual backlash controls and 4 air-brakes. Also a very good drag strong smooth and variable. And a well working clutch which dis-engages immediately on first crank. Also the line run clicker works well, tics as line is peeling out so you don't crank against a hard running fish. Has a bait clicker as well which sounds well with a good working switch. In all some wear to the plates but a good looking and very good working reel ready to fish or collect alike.
