Abu Garcia 5000 fishing reel This reel is having a couple small issues: When you push the release to cast it you need to turn the handle once or twice to get it to click back on and the reel handle is loose. There is some boat rash on the top and the bottom of the reel as you can see the pictures. The reel doesn't look that bad but the decals have been worn off fighting fish.

There is line and a swivel on the reel. The original leather case has a crease will the lid bends and the snaps have become a little tarnished. The tube of oil& the tool are in little baggies with staples that have not been opened, and the manuals(picture 7) show very little use, but have a couple of stains. All in all, I would rate this ABU AMBASSADEUR 2500C fishing reel a 9.999999. and should make any collector proud to have it. I hope my pictures do it justice. Thanks for L@KING. Up for sale is this Vintage Garcia Ambassadeur 5000C Baitcasting Fishing Reel. This Reel is SUPER NICE and doesn’t appear to have ever been used. There are a few light scuff marks on the top of the reel(SEE PICTURES) This reel was made in Sweden probably in the early 1970’s. The instruction guide is dated 1971. This set up appears complete and includes the reel. Carrying case, small wrench, tube of assorted pieces, oil bottle and instructions. The serial number on the reel is 170950 which is also the number on the cardboard box. The cardboard box is the only part that shows wear.
