There is no"boat rash" ... moreMechanically, it is excellent. It is equipped with an aluminum spool and has a wide thumb rest. It has stainless steel ball bearings and an instant anti-reverse. The drag is smooth, as is the level winding mechanism, which rides on a nickel plated guide rod. There is an anti backlash adjustment, which helps to prevent the"birds nesting" that wastes so much fishing time. This is made in Sweden. There is some loss of info on the band that lists the amount of line the reel holds in each line size. This info is available on line, but I will list it here. It holds 205 yds. of 12 lb. test, 180 yds. of 14 lb. test, and 130 yds. of 17 lb. test. The serial number is 100011/14. This is the reel in the pictures and the one the buyer will receive.
