This is a vintage Daiwa SS2000 spinning reel with aluminum spool and rosewood handle and the reel is for freshwater or saltwater fishing. The reel is stamped Daiwa. SS2000, Line Cap. 10 Lb/350 Yds. 12 Lb/275 Yds. 15 Lb/200 Yds. 17 Lb/150 Yds. 20 Lb/125 Yds. and heel is stamped Daiwa. Japan. Measures approx. 5 5/8" long. 4 13/16" tall and 2 3/8" spool cover diameter. This reel is in good to very good condition and some of the chrome shows bubbling corrosion from saltwater fishing and reel is in very good working condition and bail works. Turns freely and the anti-reverse works. The aluminum spool has some fancy etching of figures on it. I'll let the photos tell the rest.

This is a clean and vintage Daiwa D1600 spinning reel in 100% working order. Guaranteed. No issues with the mechanics as all works as intended. The reel even looks good too. A few scrapes[ last pic] to the back of the reel but other then that it's ready for line. Crisp graphics and interchangeable right or left hand retrieve. Made in Japan stamped on the reel seat. If you are looking to add to your reel arsenal then take look. 4 spinning reels for very little money. All work and are in decent shape. The black Silstar is a bait runner for surf casting- if you don't know bait runner go on line and check it out- this is the reel to use when fishing bait from a sand spike. Allows light drag to allow easy pick up by the prey and then easy setting of the hook. The Fin Nor is a work horse and served me well for Bontio. Blues and Albies for years. The Shakespeare is a great little reel I used to catch bait and it has new 10# braid on it. The BIG Mako spinner is a nice clean reel I picked up in a box of stuff at an auction and would be a great beach or boat reel and has some balls for big bass or blues. 4 reels for $ 25 should be a no brainer.

Vintage Ted Williams 920 same as the Daiwa 7850RL This large spin reel was made in Japan by Daiwa in the 70s and weighs 23.6oz. It is in excellent condition and everything works very well. It comes with a dark brown colored metal body, good bail, smooth drag, rolling roller, good anti-reverse, and good smooth gears. It shows some lite marks on the finish, mostly on one side of the rotor. It has a 3.5/1 gear ratio and will hold 300 yards of 20lb.test it is a fairly good quality reel, and is a grade 9/9. It comes with helical cut worm style gears that were usually only found on the top quality spin reels at the time. If you are not happy with an item. Returns are fine but buyer pays shipping. The reels I sell are 98% used. And in between 20& 100 years old. Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first ... moreno. is how it looks and the second how it works. A 5/5 would be for parts and a 10/10 would be new. You are looking at a Daiwa 8600 3 ball bearing spinning reel in good condition. There are some marks on this reel. A piece of the reel where it attaches to a rod is broke off(see pic) but still attaches easily and will not affect the stability of it. It seems to be in good working condition.
