Fenwick Feralite FS55 Spinning Rod. 5 1/2' 2 3/8 oz. 1/8-1/4 oz. lures, 1-4 lb. line. In like new condition. Eagle insignia on the rod is clean and intact. The"J" in the serial# designates that it was manufactured in 1969-70- Made in USA. The rod was used only sparingly by my dad, pretty much just stored in his closet for 40 years. The cork handle is in great shape, line guides are straight, true and shiny, wraps are all like new, blank is like new. The red and green plaid cloth sock is like new. The aluminum tube is not dented and the screw cap threads are in excellent shape. Fenwick sticker on the tube is still mostly intact. Beautiful rod. Shipped to CONUS only. Lamiglas Fly rod - Martin 67SS-A - Fenwick fly rod
Lamiglas SFL96 S GLASS 8" 6/7 WT 2 PC Fly rod. The rod is in really good shape. I recently bought it but find I really don't need another 6/7wt. Rod shows only minor wear. Has two stripper guides and a Fuji seat. The Fuji seat may not be the prettiest to most people but they are bomb proof. I am a big fan of them. I paid $100 just for this rod and that was a bargain. I am offering all of this for a $99 start price. The Martin 67SS-A reel comes with line. Shows minor wear. Most noticeable is a spot on the spool. Pawls are good. Nice click pawl reel. No clue what the line is but think its a wf5f line. Next is a Fenwick fly rod. It was an 8"6 6/7 wt but I cut a couple foot off the butt and remounted the grip and moved the stripper. Very little evidence of use. Some minor scratches if you look hard enough. Where the ferrule fits together it is smooth from the fit. It appears to have a slight curve(set? in the tip section. If you hold the rod with the line guides up there is slight dip at the tip. If you hold the rod with the line guides down as it would be used, then it's straight. Do they manufacture them this way? I tried to show this in the third photo. The aluminum rod tube did its job of protecting this rod, as it has scrapes, scratches, dirt and grime from ... morestorage and/or transporting. No damage, just use. Cap has long ago lost its chain that attached it to the tube. The rod number, FF108) is etched into the rod tube in two places, the cap and the neck near the cap. Complete with rod sock and correctly marked triangular rod tube. Marked on the rod is Fenwick. L 159246, FS80C 8' 7-5/8 OZ, 3/8-1 OZ. Lures, 8-20 lb. Line, FERALITE. Rod is basically in un-used condition. There is paraffin residue on the ferrule, a light scratch at the tightening rings where the reel attaches, and if you look hard enough you got to find at least a couple of scratches somewhere. During manufacture the cork handle was assembled with a dark ring of cork. It's not a space, it's a dark piece of cork, see last photos) Rod sock is in excellent condition. This rod is clearly marked as a Model 2055 5 1/2' 1 5/8 oz. shaft 1/2- 1 oz. Lure 8-20 lb. line. Serial number 195056 dates the rod to 1977-78. Would be a good rod to repair or you could possibly use it for parts with the blank. The Fenglass blank is marked CA-604. It measures 62 1/4" and is full length at 63" with a tip-top guide installed. According to my 1984 Fenwick Rod Builders Blank and Components Catalog(see last two photos) This is a fast action blank with Med.Lt. power(corresponds with 4 Power ... morerating) for 3/16-1/2 oz lures, and weighs 1 1/2 oz. The blank has a spine or slight curvature as indicated by the placement of the label on the inside of the curve, which you will want to consider when installing the guides.
