This is a Vintage Fenwick Feralite Ultra Light Spinning Fishing Rod with Plastic Tube and Cloth Sleeve as shown. Label on the rod says FS55 5 1/2’ 2 3/8 oz. 1/8-1/4 OZ. LURES 1-3 LB. LINE. The rod is in VERY NICE condition for appearance. In fact. It looks hardly used if at all. This is a beautiful rod that measures a little over 5 feet and 5 inches long. Since it does not measure exactly 5’6” it may have been shortened just a little bit. Cloth sleeve is in excellent condition and the tube is nice as well with the previous owners identification label written on the outside of the tube. A vintage Fenwick Eagle Graphite 5-1/2' baitcasting rod that is in very good condition with absolutely no issues. The guides are all good. The wraps are all tight and it appears to still have it's original tip. This is a one piece rod rated 5 Power for 8-20 lb line and 1/4-3/4 oz lures. The rod will be shipped USPS Priority Mail with tracking in a triple wall ADS plastic tube for protection. This is a two piece(equal lengths) Fenwick Model PLB83 Spinning Rod that on the side says FERALITE Serial No. C 8893 PLB83 8’3” The rod has a nice appearance with a few minor light scratches/marks. Mechanically. It is perfectly sound with 10 nice guides and wraps, a great connecting ferrule, a very nice metal reel seat and large cork handle. The back base of some of the guides show a little light corrosion, but hardly noticeable and nothing of importance as far as mechanics go for sure. The 7 steel guides have ceramic inserts and are tightly wrapped. Glass ferrule is tight and intact. Reel seat has dual rings for added security. Handle corks are intact with light soiling. The nylon sleeve does have some light soiling which just needs cleaned. The plastic caps on the original case are cracked and the top one can be removed since the hinge is cracked. This offering is for a great fishing rod. The Fenwick HMG is a fine rod in all models but in my opinion the GFS64. With it's sensitivity, is one of the top for a light action walleye and smallmouth bass fishing rods there is. The rod specs are as follows: GFS64 is a 6 1/2' 2 3/4 Oz rod with a line weight of 1-6 lb test and a lure weight 1/8 to 3/8 Oz. The blank, eyelets, wraps, sock and tube are in fine shape but the cork does have a few dings and that is what shows the wear the rod has had. Additional pics are available so just email if needed. This is a vintage Fenwick FF858-5 fiberglass fly rod. 8'6" 8wt, 5 pc. Casts best, in my opinion, with a DT7 line. It has been expertly modified to accommodate a 6th piece- a cork handle for two-handed casting. The rod is in excellent condition with only minor scratches on the reel seat. VINTAGE FENWICK FF837 AFTMA Line NO.7 / 8 1/4" Long Excellent to Mint Condition
This Rod is in awesome condition! You are buying the rod only with no case or sock. It looks like brand new and you just don't find old Fenwick's in this kind of condition. Hard to find a flaw but I am sure it has a blemish but I cant seem to find one. There is some marks were the 2 rod pieces come together but it's not much.
