This is a solid. Medium heavy, Fenwick, and Garcia 624 combo. The rod, designed as a salt water, livebait, caster, is 2 piece, 7' 16 oz. for 20-30 lbs. line, with Fenwick style, rubberized, hypalon" grips. The blank is near perfect, as are the 7 guides, wraps and tip. Two Vintage Fenwick Ultralight Spinning Rods, FS60 And FS55 Excellent Condition
Hi. Your bidding on my two vintage Fenwick ultra lite spinning rods. I listed these rods as excellent because I truly don't think they were used by the excellent condition of the rods themselves. I'll start with the FS55 first and the 1st eight pictures are for this rod only.This Feralite glass rod sn# 141062 is a 5.5 foot rod weighing in at 2 3/8 oz is made to use ultra lite lures 1/8 to 1/4 oz and 1 to 4 weight line. It comes with the original rod sock and tube. The tube shows some wear just from being in a closet for many years but the rod is excellent. The second rod(last 4 pictures) is a FS60 Fenwick Feralite ultra lite glass rod and is a 6 ft rod weighing 2 5/8 oz for 1/8 to 1/4 oz lures and 1 to 3 lb lines sn 124365. It doesn't have a tube or rod sock but the rod has been kept in a cardboard tube and is in excellent shape. ... moreThese rods were sold in the early to mid 70's and were one of the top glass rods of their day and sold for 35.00 to 40.00 which was pretty expensive for the time. See price tag in the picture of the rod tube, it says Abercrombie& Fitch 35.09 $. I had a FS50 that I used for years and it was the best rod I ever owned but I traded it for a Fenwick Graphite when they came out and never liked it as much as the glass so I found these two at(Author) Martin Keene had and I bought both of them from him but as time has it I never got to use either of them. I found that when you fish these Fenwicks you could feel the slightest nibble transmit right up the rod to your hand and they had just the correct amount of stiffness and flex to have great enjoyment. I will say if you enjoy a good fight then ultra lite is the way to go, I caught a 4 lb Pickerel and it took me 20 minutes to get him in using 4 lb test. Lots of fun! Fenwick Eagle HMG Graphite Fly Rod
This is an older rod that I fished with as a young man in the mountains of Tennessee and north Georgia. It is light weight and would be perfect for small stream fishing where casting is limited. It is a lot of fun to fish with and I think you could easily put a 5 wt or maybe even a 4 wt line on it and it would do fine.

This is a solid. Medium heavy Fenwick saltwater rod. The rod is designed as a salt water live bait caster and is a 2 piece 7' 16 oz. rod for 20-30 lbs. line. Made with Fenwick style, rubberized, hypalon" grips/handle. The blank is near perfect, as are the 8 guides for excellent line feel. The Fenwick, s/s reel seat, has 4, through reel seat, locking bolts, with double, uplocking rings. Sold with sleeve case with separate piece pockets to keep rod looking nice all the time.
