Both sections are the exact length and assemble for an 8 foot rod. Cork is in great shape and still has the paper tap affixed. Base of the rod has a rubber cap that is marked Fenwick. Rod really shows no evidence of use or wear whatsoever. The tube has traveled and has typical scratches and scuffs but no dents and it has it's top cap. Sock is fadded on one side. Vintage Fenwick HMG Graphite 4 1/2' One Piece Ultra Light Spinning Rod. Bought new in 79 and used very little. It is the best feeling Rod that I have ever used. Only defect is in the cork of the very end of the handle. Made In USA and hard to find. The Wraps. Eyes Tips are perfect as well as finish is bright. The only defect to rod is 2 small chunks of cork are missing on the end which effects nothing. These HMG( made in USA)rods cannot be bought new and do not compare with newer versions. There are no repairs needed on this rod and shows very little use. Please refrain from ridiculous bids.

Here is coll.of Fenwick parts consisting of 2 FS 80 1 spinning 1 casting. 1 Fenglass butt no number measures 64 in, needs a guide replaced, 1 Fenwick casting rod butt also no name, both in good condition, 2 casting rod tips measures 54 and 52 in. and a 2 piece set of flyrod parts a tip and a center section measures 33/1/2 probably from a 3 or 4 piece set, USPS parcel post Fenwick fishing rod parts 2 FS 80 1 spinning 1 casting. Could use a little cork cleanup, 1 butt measures 52 in, and the other measures 54 in both have no FS number, the 54 inch is marked Fenglass 1 needs a guide replaced Tips 1 measures 53 1/2. 1 measures 48 in. the 2 piece flyrod set are probably from a 3 or 4 piece set measures 33/12, the tips are in excellent condition

Vintage Fenwick Feralite 9 ft. surf rod with a Penn Jig Master# 500 reel. The rod has a eagle on it and says Fenwick Feralite. 9 ft. D50603, PLB90. It also says Important Twist On-Twist Off. Apply paraffin to ferule as needed for lubercation. The pole is in good shape but has two eyes that need repair. The one is on the half with the reel on it. The other is missing the eye and is the fourth one from the top. With repair it would be a great vintage rod to use. The reel is in good shape and works good. Vintage Fenwick Fiberglass PLS75 7 1/2 Ft. Spinning Rod made in USA
This auction is for a vintage Fenwick PLS75. 7 1/2 ft. glass spinning rod. The rod was designed for use along the Gulf Coast as a light tackle saltwater spinning rod. The rod label is intact and shows that the rod weighs 6 3/4 oz. and is rated for 1/4- 5/8 oz. Lures and 6-15 lb. line. The rod has a heavy duty double locking ring downlocking reel seat. The ferrule fit is tight, and there are no cracks in the ferrules. The guides are all original and in what appear to me to be in very good condition. I am the original owner of this rod. Having purchased it in 1977, and it has seen only very light use. There are minor scratches on the reel seat(where the reel foot sat) and some ridging on the foregrip and the handle. There are some light cosmetic scratches on the rod blank, but the blank's finish is otherwise bright and even. The rod comes ... morein the original red nylon rod sock and the original triangular Fenwick rod tube. As shown in the pictures, the rod tube cap is missing and there is a piece out of the tube's end cap. With the exceptions noted, I would judge the rod in very good to excellent condition, particularly for a rod of this vintage. It has 2 stripper guides and 7 snakes guides plus the tip tip. All wraps are in great shape. No stress cracks or issues of any kind.
