VINTAGE FENWICK FERALITE PLS75 7'1/2" 2 PIECE SPINNING ROD GREAT SHAPE!!!
Up for auction is a very nice vintage Fenwick Feralite spinning rod model PLS75(G 76544) 2 piece 7'1/2. The pole is in fantastic shape. Its hard to take detailed pics of fishing poles so let me try to describe the condition. The pole doesn't have any breaks or repairs. Its as straight as an arrow. The cork and handle area honestly looks like the pole has never been used. I cant see any signs of a reel attached. Marks, scratches ect. Looking at the coppered area I am going to say this pole has never been used. The cork in great shape. The finish is beautiful. The only negative thing about this pole I can say, towards the top of the pole the eyes show some minute rust spots" Nothing to bad. Its in great shape considering the age of the pole. Offered is this vintage fenwick feralite that I believe is one of the first Feralite rods Jim Green Devoloped& patented in the early 60's It is a 7 ft. 5 wt. weighing only 3 1/8 oz. It is a delight in the hand to those who appreciate fiberglass rods. It is in excelent condition as shown in the pictures. Take the time to look at all the pictures to appreciate it's condition. This rod has no serial# where one would usually be found. There is some color difference between the two sections which also suggest early development of the feralite program. A nice old FENWICK cork handled 140 fishing pole. 4 foot 6 inches longHalfway between the handle and the first eye there is what looks like binding but it doesn't look like it was for another eye. I don't know what it is. At first I thought an eye was missing but I don't think so. N221266 above the Fenwick eagle emblem. It only weighs 1.8 ounces.

Fenwick Seahawk SHLD 50 lever drag reel
For auction is a vintage Fenwick Seahawk SHLD 50 lever drag fishing. The reel's appearance is as seen in the photographs. There is oxidation on the sides of the spool and the chrome. The label on the top support post is missing. Mechanically this reel works as it should. It has not been used in many years but the retrieve and drag are smooth. This is a large reel. The diameter of the side plate is the same size as that of a 6/0 Penn Senator. Line capacity is 460 yards of 50 lb. line. Gear ratio is 3.1 to one. The rod clamp. Box, partial bottle of oil and instructions are included. The instructions are stained by the oil. This is a very rare reel. I believe Fenwick sold this reel for only one year.

2 Fenwick Rods PLS70 Short, & a Woodstream 6/1/2'
The first 5 pictures are of the Fenwick Woodstream serial 690035 made in the USA. The model number is worn off. The wrapings are in fair to good condition. Rod does have some scratches. The tip my have been replaced and it appears to be about 2 inches short. I am not sure of that because the bottom section matches the tip section in length. The rod measures 80' The next pictures are of a Fenwick PLS 70 serial#P302397. This rod is in new condition, but the tip has been replaced and is 7' short measuring 78&1/2 inches. Being offered for auction is a Vintage Fenwick"Lunker Stik" Model PLS66. The length is 6 1/2 feet. Weight is 6 3/8 ounces and is balanced for 1/2 oz. to 1 oz. lures, 8- 15 lb. test line. This rod is in"beautiful condition" and I doubt it has ever wet a line. The cork ring handle is very clean. Showing no wear. Ferrules and line guides are all intact, tight, and in excellent shape. This rod package includes the original cloth rod sack and a Fenwick rod hard-tube carry case. The carry case is actually labeled PLS70, which is for the vintage 7 foot model Fenwick rod(please refer to photos) The only difference in this case and the one for this rod is the label. Fenwick developed some of the first rods designed exclusively for the competition bass fishermen. This is a"Modified" Fenwick HMG Graphite GFF857 7WHT fly rod. As far as"Modified" is concerned it's supposed to be 8'6" and it is actually 8'3" The story is that the salesman at the now defunked"Wolfes sporting goods" in Park City UT. back in the late 70s was showing the rod to my dad and jamed it into the ceiling and broke it off and they then sold it at a greatly reduced price. Anyway the rod is still a great rod. However I have to many rods so this one is up for sale. It includes original sock and aluminum tube.
