Lot Of 6 Good Used Vtg. Fishing Rod Agate Tip-Tops Line Guides-3 Of Each-Fly ?
I’m not sure if these came from old fly rods or casting rods. It appears that the two tip-tops that are attached to the partial blanks are a fly rod size. They are amber in color. The other tip-top and the three guides appear much more reddish in color. I don’t know who made them or the exact sizes. None are damaged from use or abuse. And all have some soil. I firmly believe that the metal areas will polish up nicely by the right person. I’ll let the photos say the rest. Items will be shipped in a box. Up for sale is a vintage antique hand fishing set recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition, featuring a cork wood bobber, braided line, sinker and hook,wrapped around a board. It was used to fish odd a boat. The only condition issue to discuss is some of the paint is peeling away from the bobber, as see in the photos. The wood measures approximately 8 5/8" x 2 1/8" in size.
