Vintage German Silver Fly Reel - Missing Handle Knob
Up for bid one Vintage German Silver Fly Reel. The reel is missing the handle knob and the clicker doesn't work. This reel is constructed of German Silver with an open frame. And spool. Inscribed on the rear frame is"GERMAN SILVER 80 YDS. There is a clicker(not working) controlled by a slide button on the rear frame. The handle knob would attach to the spool. Opposite the knob location is a counterweight on the spool. The screw that holds the spool on looks like it may not be original to the reel as it has some black paint on it. Overall the reel is in good physical condition. It appears un-used(see photos) The frame measures 2-7/16" diameter. 1-3/8" deep not including the handle, the spool measures 2-1/4" diameter, and has a foot measuring 2-7/16" long by 9/16" wide. Vintage Nickel Plated Brass Fly Reel w/ 2:1 Multiplier- Manufacturer not known.
Up for bid is one vintage Nickel Plated raised pillar Trout/Fly Reel with Clicker. And 2:1 Geared Multiplier. The reel has nickel plating over brass. The plating is in very poor condition with about 95% worn off(see photos) There is a clicker controlled by a slide button on the back plate. It is in very good working condition. The handle appears to have a ivory colored plastic knob, although it could be the real thing. There are no marks on the reel as to manufacturer. Some identifying features include the front cover screws are placed at 9:00 and 3:00, and the foot is one piece very similar to a Terry foot, but the screws thread directly into the foot tabs, not a supporting block. Beautiful vintage Martin Model MG-7 Fly Fishing Reel with an extra Martin F-14 Spool. Reel is in very good condition and you can tell that it's seen some good action with water marks and a few minor scratches. No dents or gouges and everything works smoothly and flawlessly. Also it comes inside a cool glove soft leather drawstring pouch in excellent condition. Spool is also in very good condition and will come to you in it's original box. The Reel will come fully loaded with what looks to be Cortland 444 Classic Floating Fly Line(WF6F ROCKET-PEACH) but I am not positive. I am merely going by the tag attached to the inside of the leather pouch that the reel is stored in and the peach color that is associated with the 444 line. The Spool will come fully loaded with a light green line that I will assume is Cortland because of the 4 spools ... moreof line in this collection of fly fishing equipment that I am selling. 3 out of 4 were marked Courtland. Also it has the same touch and feel to it. The Cortland 444 Classic Peach has stood all the tests that generations of anglers have thrown at it and emerged as one of the finest fly lines of all time. These were bought at Gart Bros. in Denver, CO as the price tag is still on the spool box.

These reels are often mistaken for Bait-caster or Ice Fishing reels. When they are actually an economy Fly Reel produced by companies such as Hendryx& Winchester. The Hendryx Co. Manufacturer of brass bird cages. Started producing brass reels of medium to low quality in New Haven, CT. around 1870. In September of 1919 Winchester purchased the Hendryx Co. But found much of the machinery worthless& had to retool. Winchester continued to produce three Raised Pillar Fly Rod Models from the Hendryx line, and made both marked and unmarked reels to sell to jobbers. In 1923. This little reel is in perfect and excellent condition. There is one very small place where the nickel has chipped off. The handle is as tight as when it was made. And the clicker show absolutely no use. The reel weighs 4.6 oz. and is 2 5/8" diameter, 1 inch wide. Bid with confidence cause satisfaction guaranteed. The old ranch fisherman said it was working fine the last time he used it so we cleaned it up a bit and all appears to crank and turn good. We have not tried casting with it so we will buy it back plus postage if you have trouble with it. Please enjoy.

HARDY ST GEORGE JUNIOR limited edition fly reel England 2 3 4 weight
This was a limited edition reel. I believe it was produced in 1999, but I'm not positive. I purchased it new a year ago and fished with it maybe 8-9 days. The reel is left hand wind. B lack finish. Nickel silver line check/ drag adjustment/ release lever screws. Brass rivets, aluminum vintage ribbed style reel foo t. The ONLY noticeable wear is minor scuffs on the reel foot where it mee ts the rod and a super tiny pin-point kn i ck in the finish that is circled in the last picture. There is no dent o r ding. Just a tiny dot in the' paint' Any other appearance of wear is dust. Or photo reflection. Truly like new. Save for the wear I have noted. The reel has no case.

Orvis Battenkill Multiplier 8/9 Disc Drag Fly Reel Excellent Cond.
Up for auction is an Orvis Battenkill Multiplier 8/9 standard arbor fly reel made in England. The spool maybe easily and quickly removed to change right/left hand retrieve. The reel is made for 8 or 9 wt. line. It is a multiplier reel. Meaning that for each turn of the reel handle the reel turns more than once. There seem to be a couple of minor, hard for me to see scratches on the reel and it seems function perfectly. It is a heavy duty reel that only weighs 5 ozs. I have lubed it and comes with a full reel of backing,fly line and tippet. We have a smoke-free home. It has no case, but does have the original box and instructions.
