For sale is a Sage XP 790-4 fly rod with two g Loomis Adventure fly reels. The auction also comes with two spare spools. The rod is 9 foot 4 piece 7 line weight Sage. This rod has served me well. The rod is in perfect condition it come with all the original accessories. Water Proof Aluminum rod tube sectional cloth case to roll the rod up in and store in the tube. The reels are both g Loomis venture fly deals. Three of the four spools are already spoiled with Scientific Anglers fly line and backing. One is spoiled with a dry shooting tip 7 weight. The second is with sinking 7 weight. The third is a salt water line by scientific anglers called bone fish. It was used for three days only when I was fishing in La Paz Mexico. Up for auction is this G Loomis IMX. HSR 9000, 7'6" 2 piece spinning rod. Writing on rod reads- G Loomis. IMX, HSR 9000-2, 7'6" Mag Light, Ex-Fast Action, 6-123lb Line, 1/4-1/2 oz. Rod has a couple of small scuff marks, hard to see.Excellent condition. These rods have light to medium tips and magnum butt-sections. They were originally designed to fish steelhead plugs. Like the Hot Shot, where the boat actually is positioned at the head of a run, letting the current“pull” the plug down to the fish zone, near the bottom. The boat sweeps back and forth, across the current so the plugs cover the entire width of the river, then slips further down stream, repeating the process. Lure action is monitored by watching the rod tip wiggle as the lure digs for the bottom.
