I am listing this 1978 Alten Loomis Clipper 24-A Mounted on a 1988 Ford F-600 Truck with extra drilling tools for a motivated seller who is ready to sell! If anyone has any questions about this rig. This listing is for a 1978 24L alten loomis clipper. 4 Line Machine with a 4 cylinder continental motor with a 5 speed transmission mounted on a Ford F600. This Ford has some pickup and pulls the rig down the highway at 60 MPH with no problem, even some room to spare! Machine drills to 700 feet on 5/8 drill line and the machine is currently equipped with 400 feet on it now. This machine has a sand line auxiliary hoist and even has a fourth line on sheave for a cat head rope and shaft for cat heads. This machine comes to you ... moreFULLY TOOLED with fishing tools, two sets of spang jars, blocking, sand line bailer, a full circle socket fishing tool, an under reamer drive head, drive clamps, break out, and tightening tools! It even has all jacks needed to level the machine and the drill component is set up so that the truck does not need to be jacked. The ring is on a hinge so jacking is much more efficient and less labor intensive, aka saves you time and $$$! I have for sale. At no reserve. A used G Loomis IMX- MBR843C 7' med/heavy casting rod in good condition. It is a grey blank with green at the guides. The handle has some pitting from use and there are a couple of white marks on the rod near the handle, no chips or scratches, nothing that affects the performance of this rod. Reel seat and guides in good condition. Tried to removed white marks with a mild soap. Did not want to use any harsher chemicals, may come off with the right stuff. I tried to take pictures in sections so that you could see the condition, including a picture of the marks. I am sure I do not have to tell the people looking at this that it is a very high quality, sensitive rod. This rod has the mod-fast heavy action which make it feel somewhere between a heavy and medium heavy fast action rod. Good for throwing medium to heavy spinnerbaits, jigs and shallow crankbaits.
