There is not a better rod for salmon fishing. Rod is used with standard marks and scratches. The butts of the rod have marring on the cork from being pulled out of the holder but the rod is completely functional and has many many years of life left in it. I'm getting out of fishing. I've fished the ocean only one time with it and washed it off as soon as we got home. All the guides are intact the only thing that would make me give this rod a 8 out of 10 would be the bit of wear the this rod has gottin. Mostly clear coat scratches. Everything major on the rod i tried to picture. The cork is in excellent condition. The reel seat has 2 dings. G. Loomis SJR843-23 7' Medium Heavy GL3 Spinning Rod
Rod is medium heavy action. 8-15 lb line, 3/16-3/4 oz lures. There is a small amount of paint missing on the rear of the reel seat. I don't know how this happens but it is the same on all of my GL3's and IMX rods. See photo. The rod has not bent guides, is in excellent condition. The shipping is costly, I ship the rods in PVC with end caps to protect them and the post office shipping is expensive.
