I have a limited knowledge of vintage fishing lures, so I am describing what I see the best I can. This is a FRED ARBOGAST JITTERBUG fishing lure. This lure was introduced in 1938. JITTERBUG is printed in red on top. And on the metal front plate Jitterbug FRED ARBOGAST Akron, Ohio Patent Numbers 2261867 2207425 2429339( The lure is pre-1975 as the operations moved from Akron. Ohio to Hamilton. Ohio in 1975. The largest number denotes the patent year at 1947. But I do not know if this is the year the lure was made or the last year that a new patent for this type of Jitterbug was applied for. I am not sure from what material it is constructed.some paint loss from use. Jitterbug name decal is complete. It has two treble hooks on bottom near back and the metal plate at the front. Black eyes. Swivel attaches by front of metal plate. It is 2 3/8" in length and I think the 3/8 oz. size. Great for bass fishing. PLEASE CHECK OUT THE OTHER ITEMS I HAVE LISTED. For auction is a Campbell Hausfeld Jitterbug Orbital Air Sander. The sticker with the model number and probably country of origin is missing and there are no other markings. Included is only what is visible in the photos- the sander. The air hose quick connect male fitting and one sheet of 100 grit paper(barely used) This sander takes a standard 1/3 sandpaper sheet. It appears to be well constructed and is heavy for the size, weighing approximately 4-1/2 pounds. I have tested this used sander and it seems to run well and be fully functional. The metal is stained and has some wear and the rubber hand grips around the side are checked and cracked from age. The rubber sandpaper backing pad has some wear but is in very good condition for the age. I guarantee that the sander will run upon receipt but I cannot guarantee the life of the tool or ... morethe suitability for any specific intended use. Most of the items I sell are from estate sales. SUNNY YELLOW VTG 40'S WWII ERA JITTERBUG BOBBY SOXER DRESS.
Up for auction is an ADORABLE vintage 1940's WWII era jitterbug bobby soxer dress. The dress is cotton. In a wonderful shade of sunny yellow, and features colorful embroidery on the pockets depicting white flowers with green leaves. The pockets are gathered with white lacing that ties in a bow. There is matching lacing around the collar and cuffed sleeves. The dress closes with buttons down the front and a zipper on the side and has shoulder pads. There are belt loops present, but no belt. belt not needed in my opinion) Inside the dress is a label which reads"The Junior Shop Alden's" The approximate measurements of the dress are as follows- bust- 32" waist- 26" length- 43" Please remember these are the measurements of the dress itself, your own measurements must be smaller for it to fit. There are two small ... morefaint brown spots on the bodice that may or may not come out with cleaning, not distracting in my opinion. Also inside the collar. The hem has come unstitched on the back of the dress, and will need to be re-sewn. A very easy fix. Other than that, there are no holes, tears, dirt, soiling, fading, or funky aromas of any kind. Eventually they rose to be a big hit in the early to mid 1980's and s oon Hugga Bunch came in the form of books. Dolls, clothes, toys, lunchboxes, and even a movie.I bought this doll when it first came out for my daughter when she was a little girl& now she is 34! wow! how time flies! As you can see in the pics, she took very good care of these dolls. Her dress& bloomers have some snags probably from the velcro on her hands. Twitch it, walk the dog, or fish subsurface, a great lure with lots of history. Oreno has no eyes. Unpainted hook cups, and standard threaded eyehook posts, vintage 1930s design. Please note. There is a small chip on the front nose/lip of the bait, and a little oxidation on the front two treble hooks, which add to the vintage appeal of this highly collectible plug. Black 5 ½ inch Mud Puppy with prop tail is a consistent topwater producer come mid-summer for big bass. Northerns and muskie. Jitterbug Dancer Vinegar Valentine Vintage Penny Dreadful Satire Matted To Frame
Vintage vinegar valentine or penny dreadful titled Jitterbug. It looks to be in excellent condition. The valentine is matted. Has a cardboard backing and is shrink wrapped- all ready for you to frame! The colors are bright and crisp. The shrink warp is open on the lower corner. The outside measurement is 14" x 11" the approximate measurement of the valentine is 10-7/8" x 7-3/4" The valentine was hard to photograph as the shrink wrap caused flash spots- please ignore these areas. I purchased 16 of these vinegar valentines. They all have framing mats. Cardboard backs and have been shrink wrapped. I removed 1 valentine from the shrink wrap just to see what the condition and markings were. The one I unwrapped is marked Made in U.S.A. is in excellent condition and looks to be original.
