Lot of Ryobi AD4000V and Lews BB1LM reels with zirconia ceramic pawls
This is a lot of four(4) Ryobi AD4000V reels. One(1) Ryobi Lite VM4G reel, and one(1) Lew's Speed Spool BB-1LM reel. All of these reels have two(2) ball bearings, and all except the VM4G have the awesome zirconia ceramic pawls for abrasion resistance that prevents the worrisome pawl and worm gear replacements. They are all in about the same shape cosmetically with the normal boat rash and wear and tear abuse, but are in great functioning shape. They will probably all need a little lubrication since they've been sitting in a drawer for about 4 years now. One of the AD4000s is missing the decal on the side plate. The Lews has a small crack at the top of the side plate that you can see in the picture, but doesn't affect anything, just cosmetic. The VM4G suffered a crack on top of the line guide one day that resulted in a super glue ... morefix on the water. These are great reels with lots of life left. You get three fenwick rods as described below and above. The third has all fenwick looks but the make/model has been rubbed off. Its a 6' 4' casting rod in near perfect. It is the only one with blemish, its the peeling guide shown n picture. The rod itself has that translucent look to it, so could be a late glass/graphite combination blank but again, Im not 100% sure. I've never seen one like this before, so look it over good. Look closely and bid accordingly. Other 2 fenwicks are casting and spinning. spinning has a loose guide but otherise very nice. Casting fenwich FCA 605: Wow! Heres anice one! This is an old. Lews 5' 5" One Pice Casting Rod With White Handle Nice Condition
Up for bid is a Vintage 5' 5" One Piece what I would call a Lew's Speed Stick with a Rare White Handle now it doesn't say Speed Stick but it has the Lew's Handle on it the only thing I can see on the rod is it says Lamiglas Casting Rod that is in good used condition. The eyes are all nice tight. Has what looks like Fuji Eyes and the Handle is White and it looks like there is some bleed thru on the Handle if you look at the pictures. Here is a Lew's Speed Spool. BB-1. This in an early Lews, made in Japan by Shimano before they were bought out. The palm side of the reel has the characteristic brass emblem found only on this model of Lew's reel. The foot plate is clearly marked as shown in photo, Made in Japan, Shimano, etc. Truly a collectors prize, if you don't have this one, then you don't have the first one of these reels that are legendary to bass fisherman back in the 80's and 90's. I still fished them until the arthritis made it impossible so I am offering it to someone else. The reel is in EX+ condition 9/9 ratings at least. There is a small area of missing finish on the top rim of the handle side on the edge. This is visible in the photo. Easily touched up but I don't do that, I like them as found. Vintage 70s 1pc CUSTOM 6'8" BASS SPINNING FISHING ROD M/MH Lews Fuji Handle Worm
This is a custom graphite spinning rod I built some 30 odd years ago. It's 6'8" long. One piece. About a medium/heavy action. Should throw 3/8 to 3/4 oz lures with no problem. Can't remember exactly what blank I used but it was probably a Lew's/Fuji graphite with fuji guides and reel seat. The reel seat(LSH speed grip) is a sort of Tennessee Handle style but without the need for taping. The reel fits comfortably inside the handle. Would be a great rod for your old Cardinal 4.
