Up for sale is my travel stick. This rod was never broken. I had it ferrulled into a two piece intentionally by a very well respected rod builder. I didn't want to sacrifice or compromise for a two piece rod, so I had it made from one of the best rods available. The connection is tight, all guides straight and true. Rod was used, but never abused, and was kept in a travel tube when not in use. Rod will come with G. Loomis rod sock. I don't think you'll find another rod like this. Any questions, please ask. The only minor issue is a slight amount of rust at the feet of the 2 gathering guides(as pictured in photo#5) but has no affect whatsoever on the performance of the rod. You are bidding on a custom wrapped G Loomis MB782 Slate Rod. The rod is used. But in great condition. It is fitted with Fuji SiC guides with standard stainless frames, a Fuji ACS reel seat, custom turned cork handle with accents, and a stainless hook keeper. One note on the rod- the reel seat threads were cut a little short on the rod so that when a reel is installed the locking nut protrudes a little past the end of the threads, but it does not affect performance of the rod and the reel stays in place.
