An interesting account of a trip to Japan to view a total solar eclipse. The group included the author and her husband Professor David P. Todd, naval engineer John Pemberton, Willard P. Gerrish of Harvard College Observatory, and Vanderpoel Adriance from Columbia University's medical school among others. The expedition first visited Hawaii including stops at Honolulu, several volcanoes, Kilauea, and the leper colony at Molokai. Unsearched Sealed Box of Pennies, Denver Area. Wheats, Coppers, and UNCS. Loomis
Same box as shown in picture. But yours is sealed. I currently only have that picture of that opened box shown so I used it for the add. This will come wrapped in another empty box for protection during shipping. I have searched many boxes and have found Indian heads. Errors and steel pennies but things like that are very uncommon. You may get lucky and find one, but what you will typically see are copper pennies(pre 1982) wheat backs(pre 1959) and Uncirculated(UNCS) coins of any date but usually newer. My oldest UNC was a 1944, but again, this is rare, I would not bid with the sole intention of finding these very rare coins. Because of my location near Denver you will see a larger number of D mint marks at least with newer pennies. This may be a great reason to buy. I've seen these boxes selling on another guys page; this is basically ... morethe same thing except mine is cheaper because I don't charge $15 shipping like this guy. This guy has sold many many boxes and now my goal is to compete by lowering shipping costs using flat rate and beat his prices despite a well established seller.
