2 mitchell reel one is a mitchell 300A reel it's in excellent condition it has been refurbished and really smooth minor scratches. The spool is cracked. But is fixed the other is a mitchell 300 it works with no problem, but the reel seat is damaged spooled crack, but can be glued backed. It can also be used for parts.

Measures approx. 5 1/4" long. 4 1/4" tall and 2 7/16" spool cover diameter. This reel is in good to very good condition and has some scratches and wear on spool cover and upper edge on top back of body shows paint wear and reel in in very good operating condition and the anti-reverse works and bail trip good. the box is in good condition and shows wear(see photos) I'll let the photos tell the rest.

Vintage Mitchell Garcia 300 Spinning Reel Fishing with extras 1953 manual lot
Vintage Mitchell Garcia 300 Spinning Reel with extras. Reel was found along with the other items in the lot- everything in the first picture is included. The Mitchell Garcia manual is copyrighted 1953 and I believe this to be the manual to the reel- manual has some water stains. Yellowing from age and musty smell about it- it's just plain old. The reel is in very good condition and spins freely without issue- there is some very minor scratches here and there but all in all very good condition. About the only issue with the reel is the pull pin opposite to the handle looks to be slightly bent but does not disturb the turning of the handle- other than this the reel is in extremely nice condition. Reel is stamped"Made in France" and has a# on the underside of the rod mounting slide- is hard to read but appears to be 38998 U.S. ... morebidders. Up for sale is a vintage Mitchell 300 spinning reel. It was made in France and the date on the inside of the spool says 5-7-65. I do not know if this reel was manufactured in 1965. Those of you who know the history of the variations on this reel will know for sure. I only know what is written on inside of spool. You be the judge. This Mitchell 300 is in excellent condition with only minor scratching. It is a nice clean reel and the bail works smoothly and strong. You will not be disappointed with this reel. Remember. Vintage Garcia Mitchell 300 spinning reel 2 xtra spool rare Garcia Leather case
Up for auction is a recent estate find. A workhorse of a spinning reel = a Garcia Mitchell 300 spinning reel with a small capacity spool. Also included is a spare large capacity spool in a container and another small capacity spool in a container. Plus a rare Garcia Corp leather reel bag made just for the 300 series reel. Some of the stiches need sewing. In addition is an original#300-301 Garcia Mitchell manual and a Accessories brochure! I can remember using Mitchell 300s back in the late 1960s through the 1970s = great durable reels easy to use and easy to fix( replacing bail springs and any other parts was easy) Everything pictured is included in this auction, except the plastic stand. Please note that all I have done was clean the outside of the reel for pictures and have not disassembled the reel, after 40 years it could use a good internal ... morecleaning and lubrication. Note that the Garcia Corp. leather case has been selling alone for $20! The zipper works fine on this one but a couple of stitches came out and it is in need of sewing. That and some leather conditioner and it is excellent! This reel is very lightly used with little cosmetic reel rash or rubs( see the pictures as I tried to capture every angle) Everything works. Bail, handle, anti reverse, drag( it is 40+ years old) I would call it Excellent + condition and the Serial Number on the reel foot is D317311. Look at the reels foot, there isn't a noticeable scratch on it! According to the web site on Mitchell Reel history this reel was made in 1974( 40 years old) as designated by the"D" prefix on the serial number. On one of the spare spools the drag works but the drag spring/ plate has lost most of it" tension" and needs replacement if you plan to use it. As seen in the pictures this Garcia Mitchell 300 and all spools were made in France and it comes with the rare( Garcia Corp. embossed) leather reel bag. Up for bids are three items as one.A mitchell garcia 300 reel that cannot be told from new in my opinion,no marks what so ever on this reel,functions as it should,one vintage mitchell cap that I have owned since my teens,in my 60s now,reel is not perfect but in good shape for it's age and functions as it should,eventually I believe bail spring will have to be replaced and last one 4 star garcia conolon lightweight rod,all eyes are woven tightly,I cannot make out the number on the rod as decal is worn in some spots,cork on handle has a slit all the way around,I do not know why this has happened,look at picture,any other questions feel free to ask.I have set a buy it now price on these three items but if purcased today I will accept $10. less on buy it now price,happy hunting.

Rare Vintage Mitchell 300 Fishing Reel European1520013 First Period 6th version
Here is a Very Nice Old Mitchell 300 reel from the First Period(6th Version) Circa 1957. In April of 1957 Mitchell inscribed"Garcia Mitchell 300" or" Mitchell 300(for European vendors) on the sides of the reel for the first time. Since this reel is not inscribed with the name“Garcia” I am assuming this was for the European vendors. The serial number 1520013 is on the body side opposite the handle and, for some unknown reason, there is the letter E inscribed on the bottom of the reel foot(possibly for European, but this is only a guess) This reel is in good used condition showing some paint loss as seen in the photos, but not excessive. All mechanics work great as intended, but when reeling, it does sound like the gears are a little dry(no catches or jerks) and that maybe it could use a little grease. This reel is as described ... moreand ready to catch fish or, because of its vintage and condition, would best be suited for someones rare Mitchell Collection.
