Orvis Backpack Fishing or Hiking or School
Barely used Orvis backpack. Has multiple compartments including the ability to hold a fishing rod tube. I have used this backpack maybe 3-4 times. This is a high quality item and cost me quite a lot of money when I originally bought it. Only blemish I see is a small amount of what looks to be latex paint on the handle. I have been able to scratch most of this paint off. Can be used while fly fishing or hiking or at school.

This reel is a very nice vintage Orvis Battenkill from the early 90s. This is a well-maintained like new. Used Battenkill Fly Reel in 5/6 size with the smooth aluminum foot. There are no cracks scratches or dings on the whole reel. The reel is in mechanically perfect condition and operates with no wobble or play of any kind. Being offered is a vintage Orvis walking stick. Or staff. The length is 55 inches. The staff has a solid metal tip attached to the stick by a screw at the bottom. There is a lanyard cord running through the stick nine inches from the top. The stick is eight-sided from this point downward. It is four-sided at the very top with the ORVIS name pressed into the wood at the very top. The stick is dark brown with long wood grain. For your consideration is a vintage Orvis fly fishing zippered trout fly case. It is a rust colored suede and is fleeced lined. It has a zipper that opens and closes on 3 sides of the case. The zipper pull has the initials"YKK" on it. Orvis is imprinted on the front of the case on the bottom right hand corner. It measures approx. 3-3/4" wide. And 5-5/8" long. When closed is measures approx. 1" thick. Inside are 21 flies of various sizes which are included. This suede case has a classic look and is in very good to excellent condition.

Orvis Superfine Trout Bum 763-4 Fly Rod
This a great 3 weight rod. It is 7 feet 6 inches long and getting kind of rare. This rod is much better than the new superfine touch rods and sold for much more new. It has beautiful olive blanks. The handle is soiled from use but would clean up bright. I have not used it a lot but it has been used a few times and is in excellent condition. Up for auction is a 6ft 6 inch 2 weight 2 piece Orvis Superfine Rod(One Ounce) with the original tube and rod sock with very little use. This is an older superfine series with the unsanded blank and has a very slow action. This rod is in excellent condition with only minor soiling on the cork grip due to use. I glanced over this rod and could only find two surface scratches on the blank(Pics 2 and 3) These scratches do not affect the action of this rod. Considering the age of the rod it is in great condition I have seen other older superfine rods sell for more than my asking price. This rod is much slower than the most current Superfine(Touch) series rods. The Superfine. One Ounce" is truly a classic within the superfine series. The only reason I am selling this is due to the fact the I bought another 2wt rod to replace this one. This is an Orvis#101 spinning reel. Which is left-handed, and quite rare. It is used, please see my pics for signs of wear. However, it is in very good mechanical condition. Early Vintage Orvis Impregnated Bamboo Cane Fly Rod 9' 3-pc., 2 tips, all orig
A classic from Orvis! Vintage 9-foot 3-piece. 2-tip Orvis Impregnated Bamboo Cane Fly Rod in original bag and tube. A light salmon rod from the Wes Jordan era, all sections straight and full length. Slight soiling of grip, a couple of tiny cork flakes and a mark on the seat where the reel foot snugged down are about all I see that keeps this from a'mint' rating. Call it excellent. Early-style paper label on tube worn but legible: this is the 6 1/2-ounce model with blued 19/64 and 13/64 ferrules. Rated for a GBG silk line, probably happiest with a small-diameter modern DT-8-F. S/N 4557, built October 14, 1947 by John Rosencrantz. Wife says'sell' but I really hate to see this one go.

Vintage split bamboo Orvis impregnated Battenkill fly rod. Serial# 7815 on all 4 pieces. All pieces are the same length with no cracks or splits. The finish looks good throughout. I am second owner& don't know how much this rod was used previously but the reel seat is not scratched or dented. The cork handle is smooth with no cracks or pieces missing. I had the one eye winding repaired professionally so all windings are good. The rod sock is complete& without tears. The rod was apparently stored for some years& I never used it after acquiring it. Orvis 13.5 ' 2 Handed Salmon Rod Graphite 10WT
I have for sale a very nice example of a 13.5' 2 handed 10WT Orvis Salmon rod serial# 0185. This rod. Built in January of 1985, is in over all very good condition with slight signs of use but no issues or defects. This rod is built in a 3/1 configuration, the cork is smooth with no chips or gouges, wraps are tight, the guides are in fine condition and the ferrule fit is good. Over size stripper and bright chromed guides wrapped black. No damage to the rod shafts. The only area that shows a little more wear is the butt plate that is some what scratched and worn. Comes with the original tube in good condition with a very readable label and the original bag in very good condition.This is a rod that you do not see too often, today it would probably be labeled a Spray rod.
