This is an Orvis Battenkill 3/4 Disc Multiplier Fly Reel with extra spool. These don’t come around very often in the 3/4 size let alone with an extra spool. They were made in England and are of very nice quality. This reel is about 2 7/8” in diameter and will hold 3 or 4 weight lines readily. It has some honest wear on it but is in excellent mechanical condition. It has a very nice. Smooth drag system that is easily and quickly adjusted. It has a softer action that does a great job at protecting lighter tippets. It is a forgiving rod and is very light in hand. The cork needs a mild cleaning and it will be ready to fish. Vintage Original Orvis CFO II Fly Reel Frame (and optional spool)
Rare opportunity to add to your collection or replace your broken frame! Here's the true story: through a previous ebay purchase. The seller included this CFO III frame(without spool or reel seat post) I replaced the reel seat with a newer one from Orvis(its all they could offer) and put a Hardy Bros Marquis 2/3 sppol on it. The reel works fine. As you can see in the pictures(2) the new reel post is new, and in(5& 6) there is a slight gap between the frame and spool. I have not had any problem with line getting caught up in there. The reel is just like my Hardy Marquis 2/3, so I don't need this one. Now, that being said, Orvis has not made this reel for many, many years and now is offering a replica at an expensive price! If you already have the original classic CFO III, then here's your frame. Otherwise vest is immaculate, no signs of wear, marks, stains, snags, or odors. This vest I believe was offered back around'05, and is no longer available with the inflation pack. It was available in two models, an auto-inflation model that inflated 5 seconds after falling in water, and the pull cord model, which is this one offered. Thinking of fishing some big water. Than check out this deal. For starters we have a Sage Vantage 9 foot 6 Weight 4 piece rod with a premium cork half wells grip, beautiful wood insert and up locking reel seat. This rod has virtually seen no use and has been sitting in a case in the closet. Up for sale is a barely-used Orvis Battenkill BBS IV reel. The only signs of use are some marks on the reel foot from being mounted on a rod. The reel is very light-weight(advertised at 4.5 oz) and will comfortably accommodate 7. 8, and 9 weight lines. For backing to line ratio, I think a 5 DT through a 8 WF line is the sweet spot for this reel. Antique Orvis fly reel, rare bass size, 1874 patent
This is a very hard to find larger Orvis 1874 patent fly reel that was sold for bass fishing. It's about 1 1/8" across the pillars. Which is half an inch wider than the regular antique Orvis perforated spool reels. This one is in excellent shape with original knob, slightly filed foot and a professionally replaced click cap cover on the back. The cap was made and installed by Massachusetts reelmaker Michael Hackney. It does not have the Orvis name and other markings on it. The click works well, although it's not loud. VERY NICE PRE-OWNED ORVIS CHEST WADERS "NO LEAKS"
You are bidding on a very nice pre-owned set of Orvis chest waders size 12. The bottom of the soles are felt material. There is an adjustable Orivs belt that goes around the waist area. These waders are in very good condition with no leaks. There are a couple minor rub marks on the knee area which is common. There is a nice pocket that is on the inside of the chest area. see photo) These waders are for a tall person. The length of the waders from the top to the sole of the boot is 60 inches.
