Well Used Old School Vintage Penn Senator 6/0 Big Game Conventional Saltwater Fishing Reel. Comes with a really cool heavy duty bronze power handle with the clear"see-through" plastic blade handle. Made in USA. Right Hand. Stainless Steel Spool and Precision Bushings. Sorry no rod clamp nor hardware. In 100% working condition. Just fully serviced, drags are in like new shape. Handle cranks smooth, awesome free spool, drags are smooth, anti-reverse is solid, and clicker is loud. Reel has lots of scratches pitting, and corrosion and the name"TSUNODA' inscribed into the left side plate ring as seen in pictures. The little line attachment nub in the middle of the spool has been ground down a little which is unnecessary since we have better knots to tie the line directly to the spool. Penn No. 180 Reel In Very Good + + Condition And Freshly Serviced
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Here is a nice old Penn 180 that is good to go for a freshwater or saltwater fishing trip. It is clean inside and out and has a fresh lube job. I’ve seen no corrosion anywhere on this reel. And the only reason I don’t give it an Excellent rating is that it does have some brassing. All the metal parts are clean and shiny. I would rate the black Bakelite sideplates as Excellent. With only a couple of very fine surface scratches on the left sideplate. The clicker is loud. The drag works great. The reel cranks smoothly. And the drag star turns easily. The reel shifts into and out of free spool crisply and easily. There is a good deal of brassing on the left side of the spool. The arbor has spots of brassing. And I don’t see any brassing on the right side of the spool. The right side of the spool ... moredoes have some rub marks. The bars have some slight brassing. But are all very smooth. The reel foot has some brassing on the top side. And very little brassing on the bottom side. Please look at all of the photos carefully. As with all my Ebay ads I am careful to show both the good and the not so good parts of my merchandise. The photos do a great job of showing how this old reel looks.
