This auction is for a vintage. Used but not abused, PENN PEER No. 109 level wind fishing reel that reels smoothly. There is not any corrosion so it apparently was used only in freshwater. It operates just like it should with the drag. Clicker, and level wind working just like they should. The line looks to be in near new condition so I left it on the spool. The end plates and screw heads do not have any signs of damage other than the typical fading of the end plate color and shine. Turning is stiff. Spool release and anti-reverse works. Star drag works. The clicker works. The reel has some salt water oxidation but can be removed if soaked in vinegar and water for about an hour.
