Used penn 705z left hander. There is a little bit-of up and down play on the spool. As you can see from the picture the cup and the spool seem to rub in one place. As I am not lefty and this reel has been sitting in my basement for 20 years I figure its time to let it go. I don't know what would be involved in gettin this reel back to tip top shape but other than the spool rubbing it appear to be in good mechanical order. Will need a good cleaning and greasing.

Beautiful Bayside reel from the 1940's I believe. It has a leather thumb protector on it. It was used to keep your thumb from line burn while casting. This reel has no cracks in the side plates. This reel is what is considered a knuckle buster. Reel states 250 Yds on the reel seat. This would make a nice collector piece.

4 Penn 820 electric downriggers, boating, fishing, trolling
Up for auction for the last time are these older awesome Penn electric downriggers. All 4 have 4 foot booms. Swival matic bases, custom canvas covers, fully loaded with cable ready to fish. One has some epoxie near the base where someone tried to repair a small crack. I personally do not beleive it is damaged at all. All of them work exactly like they should, just a little dusty from sitting in the barn. There are 4 wire connectors so these can be wired right in your boat. These are awesome old downriggers and will no doubt give you years of service. There is also a small section of boom that goes with them, might be a top section? I'm not sure. All the roller guides are in very good condition, except for roller guide#1 is missing 1 big roller insert. SEE PHOTOS TO SEE THIS. I would rate this rod from 80 LB- 130 LB. The rod is in good vintage condition. The foam foregrip is in good condition and dark brown in color. The flexcoat is overall fairly good except for a few knicks in a few spots, including a chip thats 1/2 inch long in between ... morethe 3 and 4 roller guide. You are bidding on a truly terrific PENN 155 Reel from the estate of an elderly family member. As you can see the chrome is smooth and bright. There are no chips. Cracks or dents in the black Bakelite spool or in the side plates. The drag is smooth, strong and works great, and the clicker is loud. The crank is clean and shiny, and comes with a beautiful aged green knob. It was rarely used and has been in storage for many years. This Reel is ready to go fishing.
