I mounted a reel to it but never spooled the reel or got to fish with it. Beautiful light weight super strong graphite rod blank- AFTCO/PENN detachable aluminum butt AFTCO roller guides. Here is an AHM/Tempo Penn Central Fairbanks-Morse C-Liner Diesel Engine in very nice condition. It is black with white lettering and red and white logos. The engine is illuminated has its horns. Front grab irons and NMRA horn-hook couplers front and rear and two traction tires. The engine ran forward and reverse the test track and the light worked. However, it has been in storage for many years so cleaning and lube are recommended. The engine seems a little heavier than other AHM engines and I can see the frame is metal. This engine might have been modified or may be an earlier version that those I've seen. It runs very nicely and looks very good. Please look at the pictures as they are part of this description. Marlin Braid skinny line. The reel has some exterior"crud" on the chrome from normal use and storage. But it is in good working condition with a new 10' power cord. The gear housing has a few exterior stress cracks by several of the screws. 2 battery clips are included with the reel, but not installed.
