I will provide clear pictures with magnification turned on for your inspection. My Inspection of reel When I turn the handle the reel operates very well. The handle knobs are free. The spool. Line guide, worm gear, and drag all work well. Clicker button engages and dis-engages properly. Clicker is loud. This reel is complete no missing parts. Cosmetics: Minor scratches. The spool. Side covers, and foot are all are very clean. As you inspect reel you can see I have not made any modification. Disassembled or cleaned this reel in any way. This is the way I bought it. Please note I am not the original owner; I picked this one up from an auction awhile back. Paid too much of course. My loss can be your gain! A note about shipping: Any auctions items ending within 3 days of each other and won by the same bidder. I will combine items if it will save on cost for shipping. Pflueger Templar 400 yard with Case
Up for your consideration is a Pflueger Templar reel. This version was produced from 1916 to 1932. They came in different sizes and this one is marked 400 on the reel stand. It was made of German Silver and hard rubber. It came from the factory with a Williams drag handle and leather thumb stall. Also included is a leather reel case. It has seen it's best days as the stitching has deteriorated and the leather is dry but it is a piece of history and came with the reel. While I don't believe it is a Pfluger item. It was how fishermen stored their equiptment in that era. The reel is fully functional and is free of chips and cracks as can be seen by the photos. It is sold as is. What we are offering to you today is a vintage Pflueger Fluted Bait spinner. The spinner is marked"Pflueger Fluted Bait 4 3/4 Bulldog Quality" The entire length measures about 8 inches. Has what feels like camel hair, possible horse, and small red feathers in the tail. There is a single hook towards the front of the tail that faces down, and 3 hooks at the back of the tail. Condition: This lure is in EXCELLENT condition! There is minimal oxidation on the back side of the spinner and some ware in the paint and the hair is mildly fragile. Bidding on a used Pflueger Pilot Fly Fishing Lure. Size 3/0. Very hard to find(listed as a scarce/rare) lure. The nickel plated Tandem Spinner reads"PFLUEGER" and"3/0" on top sides. Bumble Bee style. Not sure of name-maybe a Yellow Sally. If I guessed correctly it appears to be a model No. 1827, finally found an advertisement dated 1943. Lure has been gently fished I believe. Feathers and body material are semi soft. I have not cleaned or attempted to touch up the hook. Sharp hook point, the hook shaft shows specks of surface rust at bend. Pflueger Palomine Strawberry color NICE BAIT!!
This 3 1/2" long. Antique fishing lure is a Pflueger Palomine in a strawberry spot colorization. It is in great shape! I hate to say"mint condition" but boy you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer one and I don't think this lure ever hit water judging by the shiny hooks on her! The dorsal picture really amplified the blemishes in real life you gotta look pretty hard to even see them. The pictures kinda say it all. I didn't clean, wax or polish any of my lures when I got them so they are as they were when I bought them. This is a Super Nice bait! This is a wood lure with carved, painted eyes. Here's an old or vintage cardboard box for a Pfleuger fishing reel we received recently with a group of outdoor sporting goods. No idea where the reel is but thought someone might like the box for their vintage reel. This one apparently held a No. 1554 Pfleuger"Sal-Trout" model reel with a gun metal finish according to the label. The box is not"like new" and has some signs of use and age. There are some two upward dimples on the box top we show in the pictures as well as other details of this type. Overall the box is in good condition. It is about 4 inches by 4 inches by 2.5 inches in size. That's about it. The pictures should be helpful to those having interest. Barrel labels, hooks are NOS(New Old Stock) Outer sleeve and inner sleeve of box has some damage with a few small tears and or creases at top ends and it looks as if probably the dealer wrote on the inner and outer sleeves of the box as well. How ever.Th is item still makes for a great display piece and this combination of items is r arely found in this complete and clean condition.
