VINTAGE PFLUEGER SUMMIT No. 1993L BAIT CASTING FISHING REEL WITH WRENCH
This old reel is in pretty good condition. And works as it should. There is a few spots where the chrome plating is wore through to a gold color. The cork on the spindle has been compressed over time and has marks in it from the line. The two plates on both sides of the cork have some scuffs and light corrosion on them. Vintage( 1936) Pflueger Summit 1993 Fishing Reel. Here is a vintage 1936 era Pflueger Summit 1993 Reel. This is one of the first Summits with the added cover plate for oiling the gears. This reel has the scarlet agate Jewels on the end caps. This reel has had very little use and shows with the high luster polish and shine. On the crank are a set of fairly rare Mother of Pearl looking knobs. This reel still has the original multi colored fishing line that I think adds a great color to the reel for display purposes. This has the slotted screws in the foot and the extended pawl screw that show it is an older model. This will be a great addition to someones collection of fine reels. RARE VINTAGE ALL BRASS PFLUEGER 1555 SAL TROUT FLY FISHING REEL
Rare 1555 Sal Trout all brass fly fishing reel. 1554's are very commom and made of alloys. The 1555 is the earlier brass model. Brass has some darker areas and probably could be polished out but the reel has a very nice patina to it now. 3 1/2" diameter, 1 1/8" wide spool. Functions are very smooth, turns freely with no rubbing or warp, very good clicker. A very nice reel for your collection. Check out my other vintage fly reels, I do combine shipping.
