What can I say. Classic old lure. I wish this one was new in the box but as you can see is well used. Looks pretty much the same all over. You should be able to zoom in pretty close if needed. I am selling these baits for the family of a friend who passed away. He was a long time NFLCC member who had a huge collection. He did touch up a few things but I removed any paint touch-ups that I could find under the black light from anything I will be selling. Just look closely at all the pics, I've tried to put in good pics and good descriptions. If there is a problem, let me know and I WILL FIX IT. I want to keep great feedback and will return the favor.

This combination of a Pflueger SuperEX No. 755 automatic fly reel and a Pflueger 5'0" Model 7350 rod makes for a very well matched pair. While the reel precedes the rod by almost three(3) decades.it is still a great match. This could not be achievable were both items in very good condition. The 7350 is what I would consider a"light" action. Bordering on"ultralight" An action that is not easily achievable from a 5'0" rod. It is a credit to the Pflueger people. The orange and black color combination"pops" Rest assured. The complexity of the automatic fly reel is all in tact. Even the small plastic boss within the reel(on the center of the spool) used to tie off the line is not broken or damaged. It is perfect. The various"clock spring actions" all work as they should. In summary, there ... moreis nothing defective about the mechanics of this fine, VINTAGE reel. My apologies for the shipping costs to be a tad high! I can't help it. Though. Vintage Pflueger 550(Shakespeare 2052) spin reel This lite spin reel was made in USA. in the mid 60s and weighs 8.5oz. It is in excellent condition and everything works very well. It comes with a light grey colored metal body, good bail, smooth drag, rolling roller, good anti-reverse, and good gears. It shows only some lite wear, mostly around the foot and the back edge. It has a 4.7/1 gear ratio and will hold 250 yards of 4lb.test it is a very good quality reel, and is a grade 8+/9+. I have been fishing with these reels for almost 50 years and caught thousands of fish with them. The oil soaked leather drag washers were the best at the time& the roller has a teflon sleeve that works like a bearing, this a great reel to fish with. If you are not happy with an item. Auction is for a clean. Very nice, Pflueger Superex Automatic Reel No. 775. I have left the existing fly line on the reel as it looks in good shape. The winding mechanism seems to work well though the line should perhaps come in a little faster. A proper inside cleaning might take care of that. In the first picture there is a tab that can be seen at about 11 o'clock. This metal tab does not want to push forward as I think it is supposed to. I do not know what it is supposed to do. The reel for it's age is in very good condition. It is clean and all writing is easily visible. The letters PK are engraved on the back side. Nice, clean No. 775!
