Vintage Pflueger Templar 1420-1/2 Ocean Reel- Uncleaned in Original Working Condition. All intact including leather line protector. These were made with"German Silver" and a bakelite grip. Generally speaking the reels with the torpedo grips were made later in the cycle. First cycle 1934- 1937. Works/Looks Great It is in used condition. Please see pictures. Vintage Pflueger 510 Supreme Bait Casting Reel w/ Hydro Thuimb Control
Here is a very nice original Pflueger 510 bait casting reel that I picked up at an auction a while back. It is in very good condition and still has line on it. It appears to be working correctly. But I didn't seem to get it to click when winding. It has a very nice large winding crank and it also has the Hydro Thumb Control on it. This is a very nice vintage reel that will be a great one to use or to add to your collections.

Uncatalogued Black Mustang. Note this is a deeper diving lip than the typical Mustang and was a custom order. This lure and 4 others were in a box my next door neighbor gave me in the 1970's. He worked at the Pflueger plant in Akron. This lure has non-traditional Pflueger hardware- which I assume was attached to see how the lure ran in the water. I really don't know. Rare. Haven't seen another one or it in any PFLUEGER catalog. Beautiful print on original card and around edges is outstanding. nickel plate is perfect with all of the red original on back. Spot of red paint on front of diagonal pflueger stamped fluted blade does not detract from this Weedless wonder! It gives it character too. Card is about 5" long. Maybe by now someone is able to know what year. I guess 1896-1899 area. It's amazing to me anyway. I am selling my entire collection. Save me in your favorite sellers. There are two Pflueger oil bottles. The glass one's label is in poor shape but the bottle itself is good. The bottle is 2.75" tall by 1.625" inches wide. There is very little oil in it. The plastic bottle is stained with very little oil in it and is 3.5" tall by 1.625" wide. The other bottle is Dunton's Tinners Fluid A Soldering Acid made by The M.W. Dunton Co. Providence. R.I. Ok im going to do my best. Starting from the front left going right. First row Shakespeare 1926 broken handle and the nice looking box goes with it Shakespeare wondereel 1922 work great. Shakespeare 1924 with the other box and papers that reel is mint. Second row Pflueger supreme. Arkron, and trump. They are all complete. Third row is the excelior kingfisher its complete. Bronson mercury 2550 with a nice etch of two guys fishing in canoe. Thats complete. 4 brothers trusty its complete and works Last is the manhatten special no. 880 it is also complete and works So only the reel in the front has a broken handle and that one is a really smooth reeler. The red South Bend reel turns easily but the clip doesn't move when I turn it. The green Direct Drive by Shakespeare turns smoothly and the clip moves. This was my husband's. I know very little about his fly fishing equipment. But, I took this to a collector and he smiled. This is a Plueger Medalist, Single Action, For Right Handed Angler, Satin Gun Metal. 1494. On the spool latch cover. Trademark Pflueger Medalist. Made in U.S. A. Stamped on the reel body below the foot DIAMOLITE LINE GUARD No 1494 PATENTED. Steel spindle, rectangular metal line guard, six rivets around spool latch cover, straight cross pillars screwed to frame, reel foot tapered rather than straight sides, right hand wind, rectangular line guard, adjustable drag, dual click. It is in what we believe to be the original box with the instructions and was wrapped up in a cloth at the bottom of my husband"s tackle box. Uncatalogued White w/ Red Head Mustang. Note this is a deeper diving lip than the typical Mustang and was a custom order. This lure and 4 others were in a box my next door neighbor gave me in the 1970's. He worked at the Pflueger plant in Akron. This lure has non-traditional Pflueger hardware- which I assume was attached to see how the lure ran in the water. I really don't know.
