It retains its chrome Butt Pin. it also has the old fashioned tie line addition. MY Opinion is that this is the sweetest of the two. The one with unbroken Glass Eyes is also known as a Best Ever"OLE BLACK JOE. It also has its chrome pin. There is a most interesting history on these Indiana-Ohio fishing lures. Mr. Carter obtained his patents in about 1919. It is suspected his later"partner" Mr. Dunkleberger, was responsible for including glass eyes into these Antique lures. YOU decide. Phantom 1511 Brown Pflueger lure is attached in original box
Old time new in the box but weathered box. The Phantom 1511 Brown Pflueger is attached in the original box. The lure looks dried but solid and good texture. The brass has tarnished. The hooks are clean. Its the package staples leaving rust stains about. It appears never out of the box and not broken away from the backing board its attached to. However the paper holding the rear hook has given out and the hook is no longer secured there. The lettering is faded on the mount board but is marked No.1511 size 1. The leader is still attached to its mounting board. Painted eyes still bright. The box says size one but is marked in the white area 4- No.1511. Box lid corners on one end need repair. Some side paper is missing on the end. It would be a good over all strong box once mended.

I am selling a Vintage Pflueger Medalist 1495 1/2 DA fly reel with 7 full spools. These are filled with various fly lines which I will note but admit I know nothing of how to identify line to be authenic. The reel works excellent and all spools are in good shape. The spools seem to be of different years because of the different markings on them. Everything here is in good shape and ready to use or display it that is the intention. The spools are marked WF4F- HDH DT55 1504- CORTLAND WF73- SALT 6BF F- OLD#12 SHOOTING HEAD- WF12 F- ONE NOT MARKED. Vintage antique Pflueger trade mark Taxie made in USA fishing reel. This is in good shape. Has a very small bend on one edge but is hard to notice. It measures 5” wide by 1.5” deep. In order to keep its antique look and value I did not and will not clean this and the original copper wire line will not be removed. What you see is what you get! Up for bid is one vintage PFLUEGER Nickel Plated Brass Raised Pillar Trout/Fly Reel with Clicker. Drag Control, 2:1 Geared Multiplier, and 60 yard line capacity. The Pflueger name does not appear. Identification is being made through the foot design. The reel has nickel plating over brass. The plating is in very good condition except there is some corrosion on the rear plate near the slide buttons(see Photo) The reel appears almost new. Lightly used(see photos) There is a clicker controlled by a slide button on the back plate and drag control through a second slide button on the rear plate. It is in excellent working condition. The handle appears to have a ivory colored plastic knob. It measures 1-7/8" diameter. 2-5/8" deep including the handle, and has a foot measuring 2-9/16" long by 9/16" wide.
