The reel has a strong clicker in both directions and shows very little sign of wear; I'd rate it an A9M9. The box has nice. Bright graphics; it is worn on the corners(as boxes this old always are) but has no tears. No papers in the box. Vintage Pflueger Supreme 1573 with a Pflueger Cub 2550 Double Handle Drag. This reel is 100% in working condition. I completely dismantle the reels and inspect every internal and external part. I then thoroughly clean and lubricate each real. This reel has visible wear to the finish but works perfectly and has no defective parts. I've had this reel since 1970 when I was still in highschool. It was given to me by a man that lived next door, it was my introduction into baitcasting. Shortly after I ended up buying an Ambassadeur 5000B, wow what a change.
