I have no clue what make this big game reel is. Except that it looks like a Pflueger I saw on- line when I was trying to identify this item. It was, I believe, from my Great Aunt Lynn's collection of outdoor camping things, because of that I think it might be 1920-1930s vintage or earlier, only clue I do have is the marking that says"Pat'd Feb 23, 86" yes I believe that to be 1886 since I have had it since the 1960s I really have no idea so PLEASE look at the pictures and ask any questions before you bid. My dad caught many large mouth bass casting a Jetterbug or Hawian Wiggler with this reel on Northwest River in VA over 50 years ago. It is used and naturally it has some marks on but it works perfectly. The pawl and gear are in perfect condition. There is a small screw missing on the crank side and a tiny rust spot. The box has a blemish on one side where a price sticker was torn off years ago.

The condition is very good and in smooth working order.It does not look as if the reel has ever had a line on it.The foot has some small wear marks and a scratch line under ... moreone end.The box shows some wear.Marking,rubbing and damage.The bottom front joint is partly split but holding without any problem. This is a Pflueger Ohio 1978 Casting reel in nice condition and good working order. Drag. Free spool, leather tab for manual drag, reel wind all seem to work fine. The reel could be cleaned and shined up more, but it is better than others I have seen listed, and way way cheaper than some of them. Check the pictures for condition, and if no one buys it, I'll just have to take it out fishing. Comes with period braided line.

I am offering for auction a neat vintage fishing lure with packaging. It is built by the Pflueger company in Akron. OH. and is called an Indiana Spinner. Made in 1940's. I would say it is in GR+ shape. Tinyest scuffs in cards graphics. Spinners unattached to card, but in sweet condition. They are stamped 599, size 4. It is also stamped with the Bulldog logo.
