PRISTINE PRE 90's RAPALA J. MARTIINI FILET KNIFE 6" HAND GROUND STAINLESS BLADE
This is a Rapala J. Martiini filet knife with a 6" blade. Martiini of Finland has been making these knives for Rapala for many years largely unchanged. The one for sale here was produced sometime before 1990. The tell is the lack of a trademark above J. Martiini on the case(there is only a trademark above Rapala) as Martiini did not have a trademark registered until 1988. As you can see by the photos this knife is in fantastic condition for its age with only some very light scratches on the blade that are so fine they appear to be more from sliding the knife in and out of the sheath than from actually cutting fish.
