The reel has very little scratches on covers. The only issue is the cork on the handle has some deteriation on the end. Two piece rod and eyes are in good condition. Vintage Penn 66 Fishing Reel with old style Handle
A good Penn LongBeach#66 fishing reel. Very smooth action. Works very well. Reel has a fair amount of pitting on the inside bezel. The Spool is very clean. The cross bars all have some pitting. The reel includes the rod clamp on the bottom. The handle is the older"football" style. A nice reel for either a collection or full time use. There is a chip out of the left side frame at the first screw(See pic) The chip does not hurt the function of the reel.

An excellent example of a French made fishing reel for the collector. Very nice French made freshwater spinning reel imported to the USA in the 50's. Everything woks perfectly as it should and there is no rust. Corrosion, or any problems. The reel body has some wear but inside it's like brand new. The is an extra spool. Handle and spool clicker included. There should be a felt drag washer on the spindle but I will substitue with a drag washer if I don't find it.
