The reel has possibly been fished. All functions work perfectly and the finish has just a couple of very tiny knicks. Spooled with 20 lb test line, the capacity is 105 yards. The gear ratio is 3.4:1. The weight of this reel is 1 lb, 2 oz so it is for heavy fresh water or with the stainless steel cover it will perform great in salt water fishing.

Johnson Century Model 100 B Spincasting Reel – Very Good Condition
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Here is a Johnson Century Model 100 B spincasting reel in very good condition. It was made in the U.S.A. It’s the only Johnson I have. And I really like it, but the Boss says that I still need to thin the herd a bit more. This reel is in great shape mechanically. It features a push-button line release and single-pin line pickup. The drag works very smoothly and well at all settings. The anti-reverse system works perfectly. The gears are all metal. Everything works together really well. I took the reel apart and cleaned it thoroughly and then lubed it just right. As a note for future cleanings. This reel is easy to take apart and put back together again. The reason I don’t rate this reel higher is because of its cosmetics. It has a number of scrapes and scratches on the cover. But no dents. There ... moreis no rust or corrosion. The knob on the handle is has a very slight chip on one side. The reel foot shows that it has been mounted on a rod. These and any other cosmetic flaws should show up clearly in the photographs. Please look at the photos closely. Because I depend on them to provide the most complete details of this description. I am very deliberate with my camera shots.
