The quilt has a medium to light weight batting. It has consistent stitching. Block size and edges. The cotton muslin backing has some small minor age spotting. The quilt top has bright color. Here are three Schilling spice boxes. The 1/2 oz. Bay Leaves and the 3/4 oz. Sage Leaves are early 1930's and the 2 oz. Pickling Spice is early 1950's. All boxes are in really good condition for their age. I have taken pictures of the fronts. Backs, tops and one side each to show that there are no tears or holes. Up for auction is a used Sage 506L Fly Reel made by Hardy plus spare spool in original suede pouches. This reel is in excellent condition. There are a few knicks on the outside rim as shown in the pictures. The reel comes with SA Air Cel Supreme WF6F plus 150 yards 20lb test backing. So they sat in a sea bag for years and years, and are essentially new. I listed as used because they are not in the original plastic wrapper. Sage GFL 480 RPL Graphite lll Fly Rod
Up for sale is a beautiful near mint Sage 480 RPL fly rod from the classic Sage Graphite III era of late'80s and early'90s. This med/fast action is a pleasure to cast and can still hold it's own against today's fast action rods. I found the 8 foot 4 weight configuration a great all around rod and this one has always treated me well. The rod was fished and it has very minor signs of wear but absolutely no damage to blank or reel seat. The rod will be shipped with original cloth rod bag and tube as shown in pics. SAGE LL 389-3 Fly Rod 8'9" 3 Wt Custom *BEAUTIFUL* Light Line
I am selling a bunch of custom rods from a guy that does about 20-30 per year. He does it for his therapy and then purges a bunch at a time. He does fish some of them. But there are so many, that no one man can put that many hours on that many rods. He learned to wrap rods from the local fly shop owner and rod builder, so he knows all of the tricks of the trade and has improved on some. He specializes in larger, saltwater rods, so they are built better than any factory rod and uses top end components. He seals the cork grips to protect from body oils, dirt and fish slime, which is why most of the cork is slightly off color. He also reinforces the ferrules on most of the rods with thread wraps the length of the ferrule. I am a big fan of the Sage LLs and have four models myself, including this one. This rod appears to be like new and I could ... morenot find any marks or scratches. I like the grip on this one because it is larger than the tiny little weiner versions that Sage put on the factory rods. Check out some of my recent feedback on this guy's rods.
